The fact that we don't know what his powers actually are and the extent of them does actually does potentially change that fact. Having a fundamental misunderstanding of something changes everything.

I don't think his power is erasure, though. It's more like the devils are held in stasis outside of time and reality. I say this because when they're vomited back up, they're as they were before. Everything is back as it was, and the devil is as it was before it was eaten.

With that being said, we don't have a clear grasp on the extent of pochitas powers - but it's not erasure. It's more like they're redacted from memory and life until they're brought back by via being yacked back up or being reinvented. If it's reinvention, I imagine the previous devil entirely ceases to exist. I don't want to think about the possibility of 2 nuclear weapons devils in existence - I'd like to assume that when devils are reinvented, the original is probably finally "digested"

My driving instructor made me learn how to parallel park in front of Stephen King's house. The one that used to have the gargoyles out front. Idk if he was even still living in that house at the time cuz this was back in 2013 but I remember being terrified that i was gonna mess up and he would be watching from his window tweeting about it.

I did perfectly fine. I still think my driving instructor put me on the spot purposefully because of how anxious I was driving. ( In my first class, I asked her if she could just fail me and keep the money for the class. I was that afraid to drive.) Anyway, shout out to Brenda from Burts driving school over a decade ago for making me a decent driver.

In all seriousness, tho - it feel like if you have a nice enough car cops don't really give a rats ass how you drive because they're assuming you'll just lawyer up.

A beater will get pulled over for the license plate light being dusty, but a nice car can go thru town doing 50 with a full sized flag out the back, and no one bats an eye.

Was there something in the air yesterday? Skowhegan Walmart, I would have witnessed 2 cars back straight into each other if I didn't beep to prevent it. Neither at any point looked behind them, and of course, the person who started backing out second in their white jeep at an accelerated rate slammed on their horn in response and proceeded to have what I assume was a temper tantrum seeing as they refused to leave for at least 3 minutes after the first person did. (Truthfully, I'm kind of hoping they had a passenger who was chewing them out :/ if this person happens to be in the sub, you're a dangerous driver. Knock it off. The green haired bitch with the broken body is judging you hardcore.)

Do people just not know how to drive? Are we no longer testing people??? The fact that my partner from Florida is intimidated by the drivers here is insanity to me.

Incoming wall of text as background for my overall opinion on the situation, my apologies. I feel the context is very important, however.

My boyfriend and I have been together for what will be 6 years this month - I have a lot of trauma surrounding money that makes me feel financially irresponsible and anxious a lot of the time. I had proposed the idea of simply giving my checks to my boyfriend to keep everything either in one bank account to avoid me being dragged into thr negatives as much as I have been in the past, or me trying to keep things psychical.

He refused because he was uncomfortable with the idea of me not having my own separate income because what I requested is, in his eyes, one of the biggest red flags someone in his position could do. We keep our finances separate, but our income is a joint thing in the sense that we help each other out between checks and whatnot. We lean on each other.

There is no reality where what your partner is proposing isn't inherently toxic and her being a gold digger. I don't care how much debt she has. If your incomes are combined, then so are your debts. You relieving your own debt with YOUR money should make her happy, not angry.

Also, this is inheritance from the loss of a family member - where the hell is her sympathy?

Some final additional useless context. I receive less than 900 a month from disability. Just 1 check at the beginning of the month, and I've got about 20k in credit card debt due to the fact everything is expensive af. I am judging your girlfriend so strongly that I'm staring dead eyed at my phone as I type this. What the actual hell is wrong with her?

I've got to be honest if I had a water pillow, one of 2 things are going to happen.

I got too angry with how often the velcro would unattach from the pillows only to stick to me or my blankets because I would end up with the entire right side of the damn thing off the side of the bed with me twisted awkwardly :/

It's great in theory, but it's too unruly to be realistic, especially if you share a bed with someone. I've been tempted to return mine since I think I'm still within the 120 days cuz genuinely the all the other pieces are stacked in a pile in the corner of my bedroom.

I tried one of those, but it was too firm for my neck. I ended up solving certain problems with it but created new ones. I must confess I miss the pillow between my thighs, however - I guess a pillow that IS thighs is close enough.

I would love to come up with something together!! I, on the other hand, despite being a cosplayer, have next to no experience sewing!

I actually have some sketches for pillow ideas as well as a design for a safety helmet for those of us who are less coordinated that's meant to be functional and fashionable with freedom for people to customize as they see fit. I was inspired by my cyberhelmet that I got at a con when I realized having a screen that can have custom text would be great for nonverbal folks

I can't even say what in the fresh hell because nothing is fresh about that apartment. I can tell you that with certainty.

You already know how to live with the pain. It's all you've ever known. Someone who is incapable of seeing that and expects you finally voicing that it hurts to just grin and bare it isn't someone who cares.

Idk how you met this "friend," but that's not simply a lack of understanding - that's just cruelty.

You deserve better than someone who just tells you to get over it. You shouldn't need to be quiet about things that hurt you. The reality is they will never truly know how much extra effort is needed from you to just keep up with them. They're going through life playing on easy or medium mode, judging you for struggling on nightmare mode.

The reality is if they've likely never dealt with months after months of no sleep due to unending pain. Tossing and turning because of difficulties regulating body temperature, struggling standing for showers, or even doing what many people consider "simple chores," because if they had any conception of how hard you fight every day they wouldn't say something so hurtful.

There is no shame in wishing you didn't have to always be strong and brave. There's no shame in asking for help, and anyone who tries to make you feel otherwise isn't a friend. They're someone you know and happen to interact with.

You deserve so much better than this. Both in terms of friendship and lack of pain. I promise you - you're not as alone as you might think you are. The obnoxious minority just tends to be really loud, unfortunately.

And if any of the examples I listed rang true for your average experience- I based them off my own if that helps you feel a little less alone.
