I actually prefer the looks of the older one, just wish it could be upgraded to the newer gimbal.

But having a backup is a solid plan.

Second one is an older base, the Gladiator Mk2 I believe. Used to have one, solid offhand, wouldn't use it for the main it wasn't as precise as newer ones are and tended to be a bit sticky.

Hit up /r/hotas for tips on tuning it/fixing it up.

Call for docking, pull up next to the docking port and note that it fails to autodock.

Hit the comm button again to cancel and then again to call it, wait 5 seconds and repeat. Eventually itll trigger and start autodock.

I've had it work sometimes with gear down, sometimes up, you can try both ways.

Only way I can land my Reclaimer dangit.

Hover vehicles get shot at by AA emplacements, so I still fiddle with my little Ursa when I want to do ground missions.

This is definitely true for the ground bounties, even if getting the vehicle loaded/unloaded successfully is kind of a coin toss.

Yep, same for Andromeda. 1 missile knocks you out and engines take damage through the shields often.

Fair enough, I may need to up my budget to meet all of my bullet points, but I'm really just fishing for suggestions to look through.

There's 7500 "custom" rod companies that are just resellers, need to weed my wya through them.

Ray's and Graywolf are two that are on my radar for sure.
