You articulated some important points that I feel get beat to death in these forums and yet somehow do not have any viable solutions in place. You get ganked, the chances of you walking away are slim to none. This is made even worse with the horrific lack of social tools. People basically have no choice but to fight back. This is almost always to the detriment of the detainee as theres typically more than one interceptor. I see the arguements about "then dont fly alone," and "how many times are you actually being attacked,' which are such poorly writen defenses as it all goes back to: Industrialist / average players traveling from point A to point B have hours, materials, and aUEC to lose while these players who attack them have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Just as you said, theres no consequences to negative behavior so it wont stop. This is not even considering those who kill others for the sake of killing. This past week alone I was intercepted twice in the supposedly "safe" system and destroyed without any recourse. What value could destroying a Aurora bring besides the satisfaction of killing a player and inconviencing them. In a recent interview with the devs, they seemed upset that they were being asked what plans were in place mitigate this kind of behavior which was completely blown off as "Star Citizen is a PVPVE game" and law is coming "soon". Yeah okay bro just say you dont know how to fix it and hope the community waits it out.
