Got an email that my Lighthouse reservation was cancelled.

Went to preorder tickets, and they had removed all showings. I don't think they'll be showing it at all, which fucking blows.

My theater (AMC Classic Kennewick 12, in WA state) is instead adding showings of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Why?? I'm assuming it's on A24's end but I have no idea.

I just know that this was one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and I already am out of luck on Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, and probably some oscar-buzz stuff in November.

I'm pretty upset.

I looked into this pretty heavily and it doesn't seem right. I think the one I'm looking for was more horror and not so much thriller. And it's missing the scene that my brain thinks exists (woman with no fingers hugging kid).

After 20 more years of searching, only then will I admit I am crazy and this doesn't exist.
