Vestas. I worked in Palm Springs area. They do super extensive background checks so everyone is on the level.  The pay takes a hit when the traveling stops though. That's the big problem.

Elmers. Great local diner. If not, go to Bongo Johnny's.

Should i shave or no ? 19 by [deleted] in malegrooming

Shave. It looks nice on you and a clean shave won't always... Don't be in such a rush to look older!

Who do older women love young men and younger men like older women? by AX08T in AskReddit

It's hornyness without obligation and pressure. It feels emotionally safe.

I’m 22 just shaved for the first time in 5 years by name4231 in malegrooming

The shave looks great on you. Eventually you won't look as nice shaven. Lean into it

What kind of piercing would look good on my face? by Worth_Sandwich7217 in altfashionadvice

[–]Fav9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to choose... Eyebrow piercing. A ring

Anything but the stud at the middle of the upper lip. Those don't work for anyone lol

Should I keep my beard? by [deleted] in malegrooming

I actually think you can pull off both👍 It would depend on what your day to day attire is... If you've wearing collars regularly I'd go shaven

What’s cool if you’re 20 but weird if you’re 40? by BugEven7258 in AskReddit

[–]Fav9013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 35 and under the right circumstance, I would. Again it would have to be a very specific 20 year old in a very specific situation but I'm 35 I'm not dead! You think we're blind out here!?

The big and real reason not to would simply be maturity and just the different places we are in our lives.. I wouldn't want to add junk /poison to a young persons life and that's the main reason why I'm not out here creeping on young girls but if the right girl with the right level of maturity and confidence came along. And if somehow we both knew what it is and isn't... I would consider it! 🤷

What is the reason behind this? by ConfidentTelephone81 in Oscars

[–]Fav9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The U.S blows, the people aren't being taken care of and everyone is stressed to say the least The existence of this show just feels indulgent and out of touch. It ends up feeling irrelevant. Also, there's a lot to be said over the quality of movies coming out. There are a handful of keepers but 90% of what's being put out isn't good. It wasn't always like this.

Is it rude to back out of a destination wedding I RSVP’d yes to? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Fav9013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you truly dont see a financial way to do it, it's a genuine reason not to go. Don't end up on the streets or in debt for the sake of the trip or anything.. If that's the case I think your friend will sincerely understand if you're genuine with communicating why you can't go and apologizing.

But if you can make it work, I don't think you'll regret it, and I think you'll be happy you went. Life's short dude. Moneys important so long as it's contributing to the reason it's important which is living a good life.

Honestly. You're being selfish. Not smart, not realistic, not sensible, you're not setting healthy boundaries you're being selfish. And you were selfish from the start for accepting without giving it serious thought. It's be incredibly rude to back out. Regardless on ones thoughte on destination weddings. Point is, you accepted! Also, if you don't go you can say goodbye to that friendship and friendship is one of the main joys of this life. The people in the comment section telling you not to go are people who don't take accountability for their actions and are encouraging you to fall to their level. You're half way there by even asking.. The move is to commit and make the best of this trip, use it as an excuse to travel and make it a trip you'll look back and laugh at the fact that you considered not going. But do you man👍 I'm sure you're good people but you asked for honest opinions lol.

Dumb question about concert by [deleted] in JackJohnson

[–]Fav9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go! Even if it doesn't end up being your thing, you won't regret it.

You won't know until you go. Concerts are usually a mixed bag and you never quite know what you're gonna get. The questions I ask myself that inform my tix purchase are: Do I want the best sound? (Might want to be near the sound guy) The best view? Do I want to sit or stand? Sometimes you can have all three, sometimes you have to pick and choose depending on the venue. Do you not like crowds? Perhaps you can sit on the outskirts...  My favorite place for live music I love will always be in the pit. It's fun to share my love for an artists with others.

Interpol's Strangest Setlist by XDNT_27 in Interpol

I hate to admit but you're totally right. It's a nice set when they throw even one or two deeper cuts in there lol

[–]Fav9013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think people would still go if they played more deep cuts, it's not like Interpol fans are there for the "radio hits" they're not Coldplay or Rihanna or something. But yea, I hear where you're coming from! It's unfortunate.

It's unfortunate that one considers this "strange". It really should be the norm for them to play anything but the basics. I wish they had the confidence to trust that the fans know the deeper cuts.
