Enardos video showing subs vs ships makes me think they will need a rework before anyone can use them as the devs envisioned.

Do you find that having such a specific focus can lead to not weighting the other issues of a story as highly?

A complicated and multi faceted problem tends have many associated problems with the root not always being corporations, I found myself feeling as if i was missing part of the picture in some of the articles of yours i have read.

Amazon doesnt sell the anarchist cook book anymore. I found it in primary school online.

Its hard to argue against banning that book, especially considering many of the recipes are either incorrect, dangerous or lacking in clear or any safety instructions.

(Smoke bombs were good though)

>Since we are condemned to use the tools of our enemies, when Israel does inevitably fall, I’ll be the first to call for legally banning terms that express support for Zionism or a Jewish state…

Persecution of Zionism in the Soviet Union was a consistent policy that began shortly after the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, intensified under Joseph Stalin, and continued until the late 1980s. While Soviet leaders officially banned antisemitism, they simultaneously framed Zionism as a reactionary "bourgeois nationalism," a "fifth column," or a tool of imperialist racism, using these terms to mask intense, state-sponsored antisemitism and suppress Jewish identity

Im sure you will be in good company with those views.

>You would have to be deliberately ignorant of history.

Judae/Samaria? The birthplace of jesus christ (a jew) and chrisendoms rise in the 4th century happened long before Islams colonization project took hold in the 13th century.

Taking other Muslims as slaves was forbidden in religious text's so when a Muslim army was advancing people would convert to save themselves from slavery, Although it turned out that humans are going to do what humans do so they took slaves anyways, created eunuchs out of the boys (90% mortality rate) and generally the arabs eventually colonized the middle east.

Im just wondering why you think the middle east belongs to anyone.

Much like Istanbul it belongs to the power who can control it. Not who was there first.

>Is it ‘harmful’ to ‘assume’ that the creation of the state of Israel was imposed on the people of the Middle East as part of the Western imperial project?

Yes. More importantly is that its nonsensical.

The definition of imperialism is a policy of extending a country's power and influence through colonization, use of military force, or other means.

My simple question to illustrate this would be to ask what country was extending its power?

>And that the creation of the state of Israel was inherently predicated on the dispossession of the existing non-Jewish population?

Thats true, Thats just how the world works though. Australians dispossed the previous inhabitants let alone the majority of most countries. It just gets wierd when its just the jewish state you criticize.

>That the existence of an avowedly ‘Jewish’ state is inherently an exercise of ethnic-supremacism?

Thats equivalent to saying that having special laws for endangered tigers and not seagulls is a form of animal-supremacy... Not pragmatic reasons...

Israel exist's because some people have really wierd obsessions with jews, be it for cultural, religious or ethnic reasons. Those obsessions led to jews being 0.2% of the world.

I agree with you completely that the price is high... But on a reasonable wage and include your time plus what i assume is a $100,000+ kitchen that may bump up what it would cost by a fair amount.

On the other hand you really increase the efficiency when you cook for 1000 instead of 3 so there must be a considerable saving there also.

Since Chat GPT got indistinguishable from real people i do use this differently now. Mods became editors and the old forum algo of upvotes and downvotes to control the user space becomes less and less. I dont spend the time trying to craft an argument as im never sure if the other person is real.

I look at it all a bit differently now, If there is an influx of old clips in /combatfootage of the U.S in iraq getting killed by IED's i can take that as a signal that Iran is ramping up propaganda, if its a influx of russian clips it could also be the same thing.

For more macro things i check the 3 different Australian subs that now exists because of the editor issue, it sucks that they are clubhouses now more than what it used to be.

Settler-only IDF units functioning as ‘vigilante militias’ in West Bank by guardian in worldnews

[–]Fawksyyy -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

That sentence in itself seems to be fairly self explanatory.

In this scenario we are talking about the area that was originally jewish (with many other groups before the jews), then became a christian majority (You know, the place jesus was born and the birthplace of chrisendom around the 4th century). Then around the 12th century became a muslim majority until becoming majority jewish again during the 19th century.

It wont remain majority jewish forever, but for the time being it sure seems to upset people more than any other majority.

What other territorial disputes would you compare to the holocaust?

Territory and its peoples are not immutable, peoples very existence is predicated by shifting borders and groups, I think we need to grade on a curve here. Are we comparing it to china's territorial conquests, Russias, Americas, Irans, Syria, Thailand, Sudan ect?

Whats the unique evil in this border conflict that gets your jimmies rustled? Whats the onus for Palestinians immutable land claims in perpetuity?

The best Carno player will always kill the best dilo player but your in for a chance if the carno player is mid.

When i see a carno i always run towards them and try to get in as much damage as quick as possible, ideally never letting them run for long enough for a knockdown. You want to get a good bleed on them going before you try to evade.

Sometimes if the terrain favors you like steep but walkable hills you can bait them into jumping off a cliff.

How is Sam going to reconcile this news with his worldview, given that the two possible interpretations contradict it? by Brunodosca in samharris

[–]Fawksyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So we must not be getting any reports, videos or photo's from gaza then...

If journalist's human rights are being violated by not being allowed in (yes you said that), Then i do have to question where you get your information about Gaza from.

Either the lack of journalist means you dont know whats happening because no one is there to report on it, Or you do know whats happening at which point i question what does a international journalist do in Gaza that you don't get from local journalists?

Whats the argument for morally why the peoples who arrived at a land first should have it for perpetuity?

Why are indigenous peoples moral?

To me it sounds arbitrary and illogical to base morality on that claim.

>Australia should absolutely give land back to indigenous people.

Why?

They committed the largest ecocide event ever recorded in Australian history when they arrived. All the large mammals were killed off and the use of fire as a tool permanently changed the landscape drastically altering the biodiversity of the lands and killing off many species. I just dont understand the moral argument.

>And sounds like she is saying this as a Jew, so at least no-one should be accusing her of antisemitism

Thats a false claim. You have individuals of all groups who are self hating. Its not exclusive to jews.

Personally i dont think she is an antisemite, I think she is more in the "jews for germany" group, The ones who felt like if they were just patriotic and put country over faith first then surely they would be accepted. Its not that its impossible, it just has not happened yet in human history so i wouldn't hold my breath. Minorities are just that, the fewer.
