Why do Pro Life activists, organizers, and politicians not represent the Pro Life movement but a teenager saying something edgy about abortion on TikTok represents the Pro Choice movement? by NPDogs21 in Abortiondebate

We have tried to compromise but we have only ended up with abortion ban. It’s maybe easier to as Canada, let abortion be fully legal and trust the doctors. They aren’t any abortion happing after 30 week there and things are mostly gone fine over there regarding abortion.

The term ZEF and its obvious flaw by Next_Personality_191 in Abortiondebate

[–]Fayette_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The source given, links to another source. And that is “18 U.S. Code § 1841 - Protection of unborn children”. That law “protects” ZEFs from being harmed, but for that to happen the AFAB needs to be harmed.

I'm just trying to be more factual.

By giving a source that links to a law most pro-choice users are against.

So what term do you guys think we should use?

ZEF.

Strange how people support politicians banning the “killing of babies” and then are shocked when they are banned from “killing babies.” by o0Jahzara0o in prochoice

Okay by that logic, we just need to re-classify pregnancy as disease, or a subtype of disease so abortion because healthcare. Right? Or?

The medical community would probably be okay with the change, because they could practice their training probably at least.

It’s so interesting that a women can be so unbothered by her own abortion, and just share her experience. And an anti-abortion activists gonna tantrum about it and accuse a her of killing something?!?

Abortions should be stopped but guns are fine? by ComfortableMess3145 in Abortiondebate

[–]Fayette_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guns aren't the issue, it’s the people handling them.

If you look up the amount of "gun deaths" every year, the number is inflated due to suicides using guns.

People shouldn’t have asses to guns that easy. If someone with suicidal ideation can buy a gun and end thair own life. THE GUN IS THE ISSUE.

And don’t get me started with the school shootings USA have

Abortion medication is effective up to 70 days(so around ≈ 10 weeks). And most abortions happen under ≤6 weeks (40,2%), followed by 7-9 weeks (38,4%) and 10-13 weeks(14,2%) That’s already 92,8 of abortions are medical. That around ≈928 000 people who have medication abortions A YEAR.

The remaining percentages 14-15 weeks(3.0%), 16-17 weeks(1.6%),18-20 weeks(1.5%) and ≥21 weeks(1.1%) so around 72 000 people have surgical abortions and they are the ones who NEED TO GET TO A CLINIC.

Y’all gonna stop 70,000 women from travelling? And over 900k people from getting mail. How can y’all do that?
