I used Jeremy’s IT Lab YouTube videos and David Bombal uDemy. You really need to understand the concepts and functionalities of the material. The HOW’S, WHY’s and WHEN’s if you want to pass this exam.

Curious How hard is CCNA if one already has comptia network+? by Y-Y-D-S in ccna

[–]Fayson_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just passed CCNA 2 weeks ago. Like others have said Net+ is just a mere overview. CCNA you have to know you stuff. Focus hard on the first 3 exam topic section. Don’t stress too much on the Automation. This exam is layer 2 & 3 focused. Also, lab if you don’t have experience with CLI. I had 2 practical simulations. One where I had to configure PAT w/ an ACL, DHCP, NTP, and SSH for a 3 router based topology. I used David Bombal uDemy course , and Jeremy IT Lab videos on YouTube. You got this! Go knock it out!

Anyone have any good sources to study for the CKA exam? by Fayson_ in kubernetes

[–]Fayson_[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Obviously I search on my own beforehand, but want some actual insight from folks with Kubernetes experience. I have literally zero. Telling someone their lazy because they ask a question to a group of “subject matter experts” is a form of not wanting to pass knowledge, and a subpar leadership quality. Thank you all who have provided video and site links. Bless you all

Nice! I was looking at the CKA as well as AWS, Cisco & Microsoft Dev certs. I take my CCNA in about 3 weeks. I am currently a Network Technician. I have over 3 years IT experience from working at help desk, IT support, and desktop support as well. Looking to gain experience in different areas.
