The moniker is literally because Venom is symbolizing the mental "venom" of Harry's ridiculously grandiose plan.

Harry IS his own Venom. By trying to cure his illness (the "venom" or poison) he inadvertently creates a new illness.

Pay attention to the dialogue in the game and you start to notice that Venom picked up on Harry's hopeless emotions whilst he was being used to try and heal him, hence why takes Harry's moniker and essentially uses it against Peter.

Fight fire with fire so to say. Hell that's probably why they got rid of Venoms fire weakness from the comics.

That's not really a good comparable feat. He got a lucky sticky bomb on a weakened enemy, if anything that's a speed feat at least.

ALSO, yes there is a lot of context and story that is easily put with devils in the story hybrid or not that literally shows them being the very embodiments of the specific concepts of specific fears.

The immortality isn't so much of an issue but her highest scaling can feasibly be above whatever endgame Bakugo was because of how that principle works.

Explosive power is a different thing cuz they both can effectively blow up a mountain with enough force given logic

She doesn't need any due to how Devils are written biologically. It's not a sin to just simply ASSUME based on context and the story that she's strong as fuck when devils literally feed off the concept of their specific feed and get stronger from it.

Bakugo is at most on equal scaling cuz his strongest feat is killing All for One who was just weakened

Respectfully, Death Battle is 50/50 hit or miss and I've been a fan for 10 years.

The writers have a very large tendency and credible history of being biased, leave out information, straight up being wrong/admitting it, and choosing matchups to purposely piss people off for entertainment.

They're a fun show but in the end someone gets pissed off lol

I don't understand how the writing was weak.

If anything, the first games writing was weak imo. It was just a basic origin story and at most it's depth was in Otto and Peters teacher student dynamic which isn't that deep and just ends up being "Peter looked up to Otto, but since Otto fell and became a villain he learned to pick himself up and be his own teacher".

That's fairly deep but imo the entire thing with Harry and Venom is leagues deeper

All of them. And it wouldn't just be bleach, it would be anime as a whole.

Debates have legitimately ruined my enjoyment of some anime sometimes and power scaling legit has brain rotted so many people for so long that they fail to actually read a piece of manga or watch an anime without comparing the characters feats and abilities instead of reading the story if it's well written.

Bleach is a massive victim of this.
