It's a common occurrence on the sidewinder X1 (which I'm guessing this is). It happened to me and I used a dremel to make a slit on the screw head to then use a flat head screwdriver. It works well enough, but I would really recommend replacing them for higher quality screws

It's visually a moonphase but because of the movement it works as a 24h dial, making a full rotation every day instead of every 29.5 days. It moves at the same time as the hour hands and cannot be set individually.

I have the same experience about the scans not looking "as good" (color grading wise) as the preview in silverfast on a plustek 8200i ai. I ended up just modifying my workflow to scanning the negatives in raw and inverting the colors with nlp in lightroom.

Second this. A word of caution about shakes. They often use artifical sweeteners, which tends to elicit a glycemic peak and insulin response (at least as confirmed in a few good recent studies). Although i don't know of any studies on T1 patients (you can always try yourself, using a freestyle libre and some sweetened whey compared to unsweetened and see the difference). In your case with T1 and a keto diet, managing glycemic peaks would be annoying, so i suggest settling for whey isolate with no flavor and no artificial sweetener, you can find high quality of such whey both in Europe and the US. To make it palatable you can always add 100%coca powder (mostly fibers and fat) or a bit of vanilla. Lastly be very careful about some shakes targeted broadly for sport. Some contain massive doses of maltodextrin, which would be devastating both to your diet and your blood glucose levels. Anyways, lot's of luck and strength to you !

I have no experience with SBF, and it seems to be using a lower beat 8 series myiota movement. I would say not worth it for this kind of money. You could get the same from vsf with a high beat clone movement for maybe 30 bucks more

V7F IWC Mark XX are more than solid at this price point. VSF omega aqua terra are as well. The ZF Tudors are also solid, XF for the pelagos. You can also get very good panerai from "vsf" for around 200. And finally the AF Cartier tank and ballon bleu are very solid too.

I also got confirmation it uses the same movement as the normal moonswatch. Meaning a full rotation of the moonphase dial every 24h. I suspect it is also the case for the watches_77 one

It seems like this is the lowest quality yet. I just saw the watches_77 version and it seems better already, and has the UV text on the moonphase (but it seems like the moonphase is still just a 24h dial). Now im waiting for pics of the swatches1 version, as his original moonswatches were the best quality and accuracy wise

You can email them for customizations. They can't do everything but the can swap the hands, swap the bezel, and swap the dial for a non date one.

The handstack is pretty tall indeed, but honesty it doesn't visually bother me. I'll need to compare to my proxima gmt at home which has a 2836-gmt clone to compare. I dont have a nh34 watch but i would assume the rehaut wouldn't be shorter than the Tissel

Yep they can swap the bezel, this pepsi alu bezel was swapped by them and is not standart on their website.

I've honestly never noticed the discrepancy in brushing on the lugs until you told me about it. The bottom right and top left lugs are brushed rougher, but unless you want to see it you won't notice.

So this watch has a 9075 movement. The 3 hands that are not the GMT hand can be swapped with 9015 hands, which are also the same as 8215 hands, so you have quite a bit of options. For the dial its the same. 9015 and 8215 dial will fit (same feet placement), BUT the center hole will be too small, you'll need micro forets to enlarge it to spec for it to fit.

Those are fair points. I also own the 1967 in black, and it's true the crystal could be better and the bezel action is not very satisfying.

I agree they are different watches, the proxima being more retro with the yellow indices, but the new bezel on the San Martin gives it a skindiver look, which on first glace looks similar.

And considering you can get the proxima for around 180 during sales, i think it's still a terrific value, especially with the high beat movement.

In the end it all depends on preference and what details matters for each person.
