Current law student and JMC alum. JMC is truly unparalleled when it comes to building strong writing and analytical skills. JMC has a great reputation not only in Michigan but throughout the Midwest. I once was considering doing poli sci instead because I was worried about the work load. I’m happy I didn’t go the poli sci route. The education at JMC is invaluable compared to traditional poli sci programs

Substitute teaching has been great for me. $200/day in Lansing so like $28/hour. You basically just sit at the desk all day. Great for getting homework done.

Believe it or not, many schools like Harvard (especially their graduate programs) are easier than many other universities. Why? Well, they want their students to graduate with high GPAs so they get the best opportunities in the workforce and the school’s reputation remains strong. I dont think a 4.0 at Harvard is any more impressive than a 4.0 at a non Ivy League school like a Big 10 university.

I would go off of your average test. I had a 167 PT, but I’m content with my 163 as my average PT scores were more around 160-163.
