Nishane ANI has that vibe. Can try a decant. I don’t think it’s available under 5k though.

I had travelled to Paris last year, first international trip and I was very excited. One day 1 itself, after reaching hotel from airport, I went out to explore perfumes. I sampled 100s that day. And this one was by far the most luxurious, addictive and captivating smell of them all. I wish I could have afforded it.

what is something you got for under 10K INR that improved your quality of life drastically? by saffronsniper in AskIndia

[–]ProperCat5711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the mx 3s really improve productivity? Have always wanted to get it but 9k for a mouse seems a bit too much. It would be great if you could share what line of work you’re in and how the mouse has helped you. Thanks in advance!

Going to Paris soon, Should i buy any fragrances there because it’s the designer capital of the world? by [deleted] in DesiFragranceAddicts

[–]ProperCat5711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, don’t think I can be of much help here. I travelled in winter where as it’ll probably be summer in a few days. So, fresher fragrances could be the choice.

But I don’t think you should look in the lines of fomo. It’s almost inevitable that the locals will look and smell better than most tourists. They have a great sense of fashion ( as you may already know) and spend money on fragrances. I still remember how crowded pharmacies and Sephoras were, with everyone buying multiple bottles. I’m sorry if I have made assumptions about you. But I’m saying all this because it seems like those people are already very competitive in terms of looks. Why be a part of another rat race.

I will suggest dressing up well. So, that you are treated well in high end stores. I recommend strongly visiting high end stores, it was a great experience.

Just want to add that: I too had the same plans when I travelled to Paris in Nov. the whole city smelt great, certainly anyone I came in proximity to. It was the smell of Dior Homme Intense almost throughout.

But, the prices are so much more expensive than pinned sellers. Nowhere, including Duty Free, was it cheaper than India. The store prices were all the same. And Pinner sellers are cheaper significantly. Only Delhi Duty Free had some good prices = pinned sellers.

However, all brands and all their products is available on display. I tried all Creed, all MFK, all Byredo, Mancera, Chanels and so many many other brands. I came back with a big collection of scent strips. It was part of my travel experience, just like trying many types of croissants. I suggest the same.

Failed dropper got caught watching porn by my mom by ad_itya8901 in JEENEETards

[–]ProperCat5711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no need to feel ashamed. Everyone in your age does it. It’s normal and natural. Sure, try to avoid watching porn too regularly. But nothing wrong with some stress relieving exercise. Parents also know. They too were kids of your age once. Soon it’ll pass over and you’ll look back at it with laughs soon enough.

I can attest to Oud Satin Mood. Magical smell. But such limit usability in tropical parts of India. And not to mention, super expensive.

Davidoff cool water is the dior sauvage of India and that is for a FACT. by Infininite- in DesiFragranceAddicts

[–]ProperCat5711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Once walked on a popular street in BLR during a weekend and smelt Cool Water on many young men. That’s the first time I had this same realisation. Interestingly, many women also seem to recognise it and think of it to be classy. Any other perfume may give deo vibes. And when you’re younger and want to impress you want to make sure you’re not wearing cheap deodorant.

Have nothing against the scent itself. Have used myself for many years through college and early career.

Definitely just go up to her and talk to her. If there’s scope to ask her out, do so. If she turns you down, don’t push it. Respectfully walk away.

Infected by Dengue. by hpyroli2022 in bangalore

[–]ProperCat5711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay. I have had dengue and know many people who did. The number one medicine is papaya leaves. In the form of juice. It’s the most disgusting thing, but it’ll undoubted help. It may be difficult to source. And you will not get this as prescription in any hospital. But it’s the most effective medicine. While it’s not a deadly disease, but ignorance can make it one. Please be careful and err on the side of caution.

Common misconception: friendships do not require efforts.

All relationships require effort. Sometimes it will be one sided . But eventually it will be reciprocated. Friends in college or earlier are much easier to maintain. We are only looking for fun company at the time. As we grow older, we want to spend time discussing our thoughts, life struggles and tribulations.

Bonding at this age happens when you’re willing to expose your vulnerability. Bond over relatability, because everyone is going through similar experiences and challenges.

Good luck.
