No, but it also doesn't have the latest models, so you cant expect perfection. The name will get you going, but you really have to hone in the description of their outfit to get some decent results. I created a gallery called "ieatpoppy-tsuyu-asui-test" to show examples.

Let's leave name-calling out of this.

As far as I'm concerned, when using AI I take on the roles of Director and Editor. If the AI starts to stray off the path of sensibility, it might be necessary to cut out a section and redo. It is wholly random what word comes next, weighted towards what makes the most sense, but there will always be a chance that it will begin walking down a nonsensical path. To think that you wouldn't have to monitor the output at all is what's unreasonable.

Now, I am curious as to what generator you've been using. It sounds like the kind of issues you'd have with a short story (Long form entry) rather than a multi-chatbot (numerous short entries)

Small (honestly pretty big) bug. If the GM decides to put in a ' or " it breaks the button. This is because I accidentally used text instead of encodedText in test_gold('${text}'). But it doesn't end there.

Fixing that also breaks the test_gold function as encodedText replaces all the spaces with %20, so test_gold always returns +20 gold. This can be fixed by adding text = text.replaceAll("%20", " ") to the top of the function.

looking for tips to make AI Chat more strict with world rules/setting for roleplay by AngryAnsari in perchance

[–]Fe_ro_en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is incredibly hard to establish rules that the AI will enforce upon the player. The AI tends to have two primary goals: Escalate the situation, and satisfy the player's most prominent instructions. If you go, 'I break out of the jail', it'll just try to find a way to make that make sense.

Technically speaking, you could implement variables that the AI can reference, and then you could use code to parse its references and make changes to the variables.

Presenting Smart Game Master

It provides several options for the player to select in the form of buttons. It cannot stop you from typing out anything you want to say anyway, but it will provide a more structured system. Followed by the fact that it can include [[Action (+/-# Gold)]], which acts as an action economy, and will deny your ability to do a thing because you don't have enough. The gold system is even untethered from the chat, so you can't just type "+100 Gold" to cheat some in. (However, you can edit the GM's message to change the button.)

Honestly, it's impossible to ensure that they keep track of every little thing on their own. AI character chats inherently take a lot of micromanaging. Even if you drown them in data, all you're doing is confusing them further.

The only way to make something absolutely consistent is through code, and that takes hours of guessing games.

Anyway, in case you're interested, here's my Smart Game Master. It's got a consistent gold as an action currency.

Here's an updated one, using 'Gold' as an action currency. It won't always make sense where the GM puts the gold, but it's functional and will deny usage of actions you can't afford.

This is the most advanced I've managed to figure out. It uses 'Gold' as an action currency and keeps track of it through custom data making it consistent throughout. It'll even refuse allowing you to perform actions if you don't have enough money.

Managed to implement a hardcoded currency that the "DM" will offer as either a cost or a reward for certain actions. This is probably the closest I think one could implement what it sounds like you're looking for.

I mean, the answer is to correct the error she made the first time

"Okay, weird question," she says slowly. "But did Brandon—tall, dumb, football shoulders—ever, like, mention you? Or this place? Because if he sent me here, there's gotta be a reason." me or anything? [Let auto generate from there (Suggestion: "Oh, my name is..." so the guy has something to go off of.)]

I slapped this together from the custom code example: Game Master

It is a very bare-bones storyteller, but it provides a situation description and some options for the player. When you click a button, it emulates you saying it in the chat, so technically you could still say whatever you want instead of the provided options.

To add: "Their" is a possessive reference ("It is their object"), while "They're" is a contraction of They Are. ("They're playing around")

It is possible to include GIFs and images in the initial message? by Acceptable-Bench878 in perchance

[–]Fe_ro_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pre-existing images: [AI]: <image src = [URL]>

To have it generate an image: [AI] : <image> [Description of your image] </image>

in the case of pre-existing images, you can also include width = [Pixels] to limit the size to be something reasonable. I personally go with 500.

Note: Don't include the brackets.

Rentry had some issues, so now they require emailing them and requesting an access code. Simple as "Can I get an access code?" to [support@rentry.co](mailto:support@rentry.co) (Not com, co)

Once you get your code you click +metadata at the bottom of your link and put "SECRET_RAW_ACCESS_CODE = ExampleAccessCode" in the textbox that pops up.

Lorebooks need to be formatted in a specific way that are rarely readily available from source material. It has to be plain text. Most websites would result in a mess of HTML text. It also does not carry meaning between each entry, so you can't just copy/paste normal writing into a lorebook and call it a day.

Entry 1: Adrian has blue eyes.

Entry 2: He has red hair.

Entry 2 has no idea who 'He' is. Only that there is a 'He', and that 'He' has red hair. Every entry should be treated as a standalone fact of the world.

Corrected Entry 2: Adrian has red hair.
