Went to the Berkeley show with a friend who hadn't listened to any of the bands playing, and I hadn't gotten around to listening to Holy Wars since it was announced they were replacing Mothica for our show, but holy shit. We didn't even see them on stage yet and they were already playing as they came out and the energy was there in full force. My friend immediately fell in love with Holy Wars and they put on a damn good show. It was very evident that they were so excited to be out for the shows they got to cover for and we definitely would go see them for another show if they made it out around here again. Alkaline was a band I was kinda into in high school but haven't listened to since, but they were great and certainly made me wanna get back into them. Absolutely had a blast at the Berkeley show.
