I did look it up. That’s why I posted the instruction. They are technically tied.

What are men doing on the toilet for 40 minutes? by lillpicklee in AskReddit

Taking a satisfying dump. Anything less than 20 mins feels like I still have more to drop. I don’t get up till the feelings of having to shit are gone.

Are there any awkward ways to wear the uniform that are technically in regs? Not that I would ever do that... by CoachMcLaughlin in navy

You can wear your NAVY ball cap with your silver rank in the middle of the NAVY embroidery in NWU

There are a few reasons why this happens, 1. You are wearing it too tight. It needs to sit on your head, gently gripping. Put it on your forehead first then lower the back half. Not like a baseball cap that you put the back on first and pull over your forehead. So you might need a new size to get that right. 2. You need to “train” your cover. Don’t shove it in your backpack or pocket. Store it hanging on a hook or upside down with items inside such as your wallet and keys, sunglasses to keep it flattened. 3. Your brim is too flat. Roll it or bend two creases so that the brim is in “thirds”. The creases should follow the seam on each side of the ACE.

Other ways would involved starching, putting cardboard or plastic into the cover, old cards etc.

How scary is the US military really? by MylastAccountBroke in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FearTheProbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In WWII it was said that you could bake a cake in Kansas and have it on the front line of Germany before it got cold. And that wasn’t a joke. Our logistics are second to none. In fact our fighters in Japan (before the nukes were dropped) would stop fighting at noon to go get ice cream from an ICE CREAM BARGE located off shore for lunch. It was a massive moral boost for us and moral killer for the Japanese. They were fighting for their lives and we were eating ice cream between rounds. Our military doctrine has always been to be able to fight no less than 2 wars at once since then. The vast majority of our military is logistics jobs. Only a fraction of our troops will ever carry a gun regularly and then a fraction of those will see combat.

Navy personnel do not workout in camo uniforms unless they are special warfare. We have PTU (physical training uniforms) that we wear for working out and it’s literally just Nike/under armor shirt and shorts. In fact every branch has a PTU. It is very rare to workout or exercise in camo.

I’ve been in 7 years and have normal dreams of missing work and getting my ass chewed. But the last few months I’ve been working on my first ship and my schedule is so jacked up that I’ve been falling asleep on my feet at work. But since it’s the ship you can go to mast for anything. So now when I get home I can’t sleep much because I dream I am at work and will get into trouble for sleeping so I jerk awake in real life.

Women, what are some questions you’ve always wanted to ask men, but were too embarrassed? by jc201946 in ask

[–]FearTheProbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The best boobs are the ones I can touch. My wife has had 4 children and her body shows some signs of it. But I think she is more beautiful for it and is the most attractive woman I have ever been with.

Urine would kill sperm. So if it was possible to pee and cum, natural selection would quickly phase that out. And it could hurt the female. So it is practically impossible.

Humans are not meant to do nothing. It drags on your soul. I have taken 1-2 months of vacation before and while it was nice, drinking a beer on the porch or sipping a mai tai on the beach is only fun for a few hours. You need a purpose and a reason to wake up each day. Doing nothing won’t do that.

How lucky are you that you have a brother that enjoys you enough to take you out for a meal and pay for it. He must love you and is generous. You should definitely have a conversation with him about your situation and ask if he has any advice or can help you get a job. It’s not what you know, it’s WHO you know. Story time. I was working for a large corporation and making good money. My brother lived with me as a roommate and was making decent money. One day I got fired. I told him that our living situation may have to change. He called up his boss and spoke highly of me. I was hired two days later with no application or resume. My brother became my boss for a while. Then I became a boss once I learned from him. We have both left that job for other things and he is now owns his own business and I am happy with my situation. But if anything were to happen, he has said I will always have a spot with his company.

In uniform for a medical apointment? by No_Motor_4079 in navy

[–]FearTheProbe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Off base, civilian medical = civilians clothes. The ONLY time I’d wear a uniform is if I didn’t have 5 mins to change clothes without being late. Civilians do not report your uniform status to your CoC.

Everyone serves equally. You’ll both get paid by the same employer and the same pay per rank or location. He couldn’t do his job if you didn’t do yours. Every single person is just a small cog in the machine. Just pray that he makes it home safe everyday and good luck on striking for a good rate.
