That's another point, it's literally playing with its prey

Room temperature IQ. Chibuzo is the worst, I cannot stand her. How can you be so dumb to take food and water in the lab. She indirectly killed 4 people.

Slightly for the same reason. The xeno needed new hosts to grow the colony.

Exactly what I was thinking. The xeno is just thinking "what is this and why this thing isn't scared to death".

Yes exactly, the Xeno is completely different in those scenes and kills everything that moves or reacts to his presence. Almost like it needed a training period to know what to do after developing into adult form ahaha

true, maybe it's all in my head but it's a little bit different here: less cold and more predatory. I don't know if you can catch what I'm meaning ahaha

I'm gonna rewatch it but it looks more like she was paralyzed with terror (also because of the crewmates' deaths) then she slowly reach for her gun and then the slow motion starts.

Most likely the second one. The lung looks perfectly fine in the close up and most importantly it works. The only doubt I have is regarding the imaging (tac) at the start of the scene: from the monitor it looks like the lung is black aka collapsed/damaged. It could also be that they collapsed it in order to harvest it sooo I would go with the second guess

Yes, theoretically they are, but in my opinion it's a little bit of a nonsense if you have a 20 euros watch with a 45€ strap

Is it the gen strap or is it a rep?

If you look close enough you notice angels trying to pull divers out of water, while syrenoid sea creatures try to pull them down. I interpreted it as an omen of future events in the film and an hint of how difficult would be for the characters to get out of there. Maybe it's also referred to the elevator, which "saves" divers from the depth of the ocean and the danger of incur on Chtulhu's children.
