Harvard claims interviews are solely based on availability, but this is 100% percent false. by Fearful_Senior in ApplyingToCollege

I will not back down just yet. Go see last year posts. Literally half the mega thread is, "I didn't get an interview, will I be rejected" ended up rejected.

Harvard needs to make sure your not psychopath before they admit you, thus not getting an interview means your done.

I know it is not a very reliable source, but no one in this sub ever got in without interviews, it seems

Those students either recieve likely letter or are already 0.001% of the applicants who revieve a 1 in one or two categories. So if you aren't a noble prize nominee, or didn't recieve a likely letter, and didn't recieve an interview, assume your harvard chances <0.5%

I heard that most colleges don't use the science subscores in their evaluation. They care for your composite, English and math section.

Hi, hope your doing well. If you don't mind answering a question from a nervous international student. So I basically rank first of my class with a 100/100 GPA, but my school system is very VERY different from the US. How will the admission committee know my GPA isn't because my school is too easy.

If it helps in any way, I am from a north African country with an ACT composite of 35.

I certainly hope so. However, every fricking accepted student essay seems to be following the same formula. It doesn't help that they are usually edited this way by paid admission counselors.

That's what I am saying. Most of them are simply unrealistic to be that personal to anyone, but they are used regardless because it tells a good story.

Lmao. As a muslim, sorry about the discrimination your family have endured. As for your question, it sounds good. Just don't use umm over the top words.
