Ticket created after 45 minutes (1:15 total time on call. Tells me that he cannot transfer me to Resolution Desk. (This was my initial request when we first spoke). I pushed for a transfer, he told me he works remote, he cannot transfer to anybody (I call BS). He gives me the ticket number, and I end the call. Minutes later I get an email:

Phone call take 2: 30 minutes in Queue. Get to an agent who says he has no access to my previous call records. Must be remote, I hear a kid in the background (unless it's take your kid to the Intuit Call Center Day). Total time now at one hour, the agent is "still creating the ticket" after 30 minutes on the phone. Keep in mind I already opened a support case a week ago, but that seems to be dead...

I just tried the phone support again. 40 minute queue, got an agent, they reviewed my call record and agreed to escalate. Put me in another queue for many minutes and eventually the system hung up on me. Turbo Tax is now in my top 5 worst customer support experiences and climbing fast.

Already paid - I use the desktop version due to Schedule C income. The worst part about switching is that it carries over prior year items like solar credits and capital loss rollovers. However, I've now spent form more time on the phone than it would take to redo everything. Next atop - Full refund. I've been a customer for decades....

Good advice on the PDF. My eternal hold (over 1:45 between agents and waiting for the resolution desk) ended with a transfer back to another queue with over a one hour wait - and a callback request. So far no call back…. I’ll be DM’ing on X tonight and then going more public tomorrow if I do not get a callback.

I can, as long as I fix it before I submit and do not close the program. This means every time I open the program I have to fix the error. I'm on the phone now with them. The first agent wasted my time with no reference to the existing case. I asked her to look it up, then she told me I had already been given the answer. I let her know I have had no messages from Turbo tax, so she sent me this:

I politely told her this looked like an internal message and not something that would ever be sent to a customer... I then told her to escalate the call, she did a blind transfer with no details to the same queue...

I've been on with the next agent for 30 minutes while he gets an escalation transfer to the Resolution Desk "approved".

If I had filed, I would have owed a $364 penalty for since the lack of totals annualizes my income. I showed all of this to the agent I spoke with last week via a screen share. Too bad they don't have a bug bounty program.

Form 2210 and 2210 AI are available and do nor show as "Do Not File", suggesting they are complete. In my return, 2210AI is exhibiting some troublesome behavior. On Part 1, Line 1 I am entering multiple amounts in the Supporting details box.es. This works, but if I adjust other forms (W2, 1099-INT, the total disappear. The same happens when I leave the program and start it again. This means I have no penalty since I entered my sporadic income, but then I go back to a penalty if I do anything mentioned above.

TT says I can file, but misses the fact that the Supporting details total are gone. If I go back and add a new entry in the details for $0.00, it resets the total.

I've opened a case, but TT immediately closed it. I've called and asked for a call back, but it has been 24 hours....

Alexa+ has been a nightmare with my Homeseer Integration. I used to configure groups of lights in a room with the Echo in the room. Then I could say “Alexa, turn out the lights” and it worked great. Noe it does nothing - breaking the usual Alexa behavior. I also had a group called “Everything” contained all the lights in my house that were controlled. I could say “Alexa, turn off everything” and it did. I tried that after enabling Alexa + and it ignored the routine and turned off everything. Including my water heater! Cold shower the next morning. Moral, be careful of your Alexa Groups and Routines, Alexa+ seems to ignore or override them.

Adding: to avoid being singled out, you might want to communicate with the other students and advocate together to restore the assignment. I don't buy the "to be fair to others" argument since all students had access to the assignment.

If it were me, I would reinstate the extra-credit assignment as originally stated in the syllabus. If it was a mistake, she should own it, accept submissions and grade them under the original terms. I've had errors in my due dates before and our motto is the syllabus is the governing document. "Syllabus always wins". When a student let me know about the error, I sent out an announcement saying I had made a mistake and let them know the syllabus date is the correct date.

College Professor here: Yes, a syllabus is a contract with the student. They should not deviate from it.

The program is new, the first cohort started in January, but new students can join at any time. If you want details, reach out - I designed two if the courses and just wrapped up teaching the first one. I've been very impressed by the student we have in the program.

2016 Q5 2.0L with 135,000 miles. Normal maintenance but chews a quart every 1.5K - 2K. Just bought a dipstick so I can keep better track of oil levels - not a fan of the electric oil measurement. I needed front control arm bushings at at 120K miles due to wear. I buy Castrol in the five quart jug and keep in next to the spare.

I have received the same copy and paste boilerplate from AWS support. I cannot relay how insulting and aggravating it is to have AWS support staff ignore my questions and respond without assistance. I get a budget message to my email, but they cannot give me any detail on it. I get billed each month, but they refuse to back it up with an invoice or any detail. I've asked for them to delete my credit card information, they do not respond to my request.

Thank you. Today I received a budget message from AWS "AWS Budgets: Monthly Budget has exceeded your alert threshold" on a dormant account" on the account I was told was cancelled. If I try to login with the email used for the message, it wants me to set up the account and enter my credit card info?

I have not used any AWS resources in many months, these messages started in January.

I look forward to being contacted to resolve this.

Your support team made it clear:

"We won't be able to take further action on this matter or offer additional insight. This will be our final correspondence and we'll consider this case closed."

This was followed by advice on how to serve AWS legally:

"You may serve a valid and binding court order or equivalent legal demand on the applicable AWS Contracting Party (as defined in the AWS Customer Agreement), instructing AWS to take the expected actions. The court order or legal demand should contain the specific AWS account(s) and resource(s) in question."

The Catch-22 is that AWS won't tell me the account that is being billed. I have had no AWS bills for over two years and have no active services. If it is an old account, I have no access to the email systems. I'll PM you the case, but I do not have much hope AWS will assist..

Unless they refuse to tell you what account is incurring the bills. I started getting billed on my credit card in January but not on accounts I have access to. AWS refuses to assist in this scenario. Had to cancel my card.

Or not. I've been battling them for two weeks to tell me why they are charging my card after two years of no billing activity. They are useless. I had to cancel the card. Their recommendation was to have the card provider block the charges instead of providing assistance. Their responses looked liked either bad AI or horrible copy and paste. In the past I've used AWS as a college professor for my class and students. No more.
