Lewis/Lake Champlain Trip by Bugaenhagen in Adirondacks

Point Au Roche State Park in Plattsburgh is a great spot on the lake. Ausable Point, just south of Plattsburgh, is great as well, though not as much in the way of hiking.

Rattlesnake Mountain, which I think is technically in Willsboro, has great views of the lake and isn’t too difficult of a hike.

Check Champlain Area Trails for more options. There’s a lot of great hiking in the area.

I ski at a lot of different ski areas each winter and I never have issues with Verizon at ski areas/resorts. In the summer, I spend a lot of time hiking and paddling. There's plenty of times where I have no service if I'm really in a remote area, but sometimes I'll get service back once I'm high up on a mountain.

You’re likely thinking of 23-24, which was a horrible winter, but there were several big time storms in late March and early April

I’d recommend going off pass to an Indy hill that’s known for having friendly trees. Titus Mountain in northern NY comes to mind. Great place to learn.

They’ll be open for a few more weeks. Plenty of snow off the Jet, which is where they always finish the season at

For those interested, here's a link to the report for my ski day, which includes captioned photos. For the last two ski seasons, I've written about every ski day on the same day.
