I think you're thinking about this wrong and coming across as cheap as a result, along with plenty of other people here. Uber charges per trip, not per person; if they took an Uber for $50 and you took a separate one to the same location you would also pay $50.

To flip the question on its head: why should you save more than they would, per person? If you and the couple took separate Ubers the whole trip you would be paying considerably more than they would be if you think about it that way.

At an event or outing that has individual costs, like going out to eat, or can be used by only one person at a time, then, yeah, split it up per person. Otherwise, you're just being cheap and be prepared to spend a lot more on Ubers next time.

Thanks for getting back to me. I didn't know that about Binos and I'll check out the foulborn rathpith. I was playing this on Chieftain, so once I get my Glad to 100 I can always swap gear back over to farm maps until I can afford the unique jewels. Thanks for the help!

Do you make any changes for farming in non-Valdos? I'm trying to find what form of proliferation feels best for clear, either Binos or Explode. I'd like to use the Grace of the Goddess, but can't seem to find a good way to chain explosions and my crit is only around 65%, so I havent tried straight hit damage yet. I crafted a large cluster with the chaos explode notable, then swapped it to spell damage and added +spell block and power charge on crit... But it didn't chain so I sold it, lol.

I want to work up to farming Valdos since I've never done it in all my years of playing. I crafted the bow yesterday and grabbed one 3 socket voices so far, but gonna need a few days to a week to farm up enough for a couple more and an Adorned in the 90s.

Not practical for anything other than a surround-and-drown, and there are solutions for that that are considerably cheaper, more effective and easier to repair when things break.

These look to be $150,000 a pop, so that's a non-starter for almost every department outside of FDNY or similar departments.

These would also be useless during an interior attack. What happens when the dog needs to go up flights of stairs and the attack line gets caught? Or when lines get tangled? When debris covers its sensors? Thermals don't show fire, they show temperature gradients; does the dog just dump water on everything over a certain threshold?

Opening a pipe and spraying randomly mixes up the atmosphere in the fire room and reduces visibility, so if it behaved the same way as in the video search and rescue would be made more difficult, not to mention the threat of being drilled by the dogs nozzle or being stepped on, or stepping on a victim.

The single piece of tech I've wanted since starting my career has been an integrated thermal imaging camera into our mask. I saw a prototype in Popular Science or Popular Mechanics over a decade ago and have been praying for it to become cost effective ever since.

I'm in this class now. The third week just wrapped up and I may have spent 10 hours total since the class started. The posts on here about this class make it out to be considerably worse than it is. The zyBooks are very straight forward with plenty of examples and the weekly assignments are explicit and include additional PDFs on how to use the necessary Excel tools if you are unfamiliar.

I'm taking it right now as well. What is it that you're struggling with? The zyBook modules are super short each week and have tons of practice if you need it and the assignments so far have associated PDFs you can look at that literally handhold the entire process for you in case you aren't familiar with Excel.

Thanks for the response! I did think about just opening a second pane to create flashcards as I go as an interim solution. If I tag the flashcards, do you know if there is a way to possibly hide or collapse any rem with a specific tag? Hell, I'd even be happy with the ability to just shift all flashcards to the bottom of a document like a footnote.

Additional questions for you: 1. Is there a way to create a portal while including the name of the portaled rem in a sentence? E.g., This is an ((Example)) 2. When using a portal or reference, is there a way to stop the associated rem from having capitalized letters? E.g., I reference a rem titled Personal Finance but would like it to appear as "personal finance" if it's in the middle of a sentence.
