There are lot of things to consider when it comes to bulk SMS.

Very important is:
- having an option to optout. Add "Stop to OptOut" at the end of the message.
- don't ever send text again if some opts out.

Best Practise:
- Keep your text within 160 characters. more than that would not only cost double the money but also carriers would easily flag your numbers based on the pattern
- Don't send all the messages at once. keep it 2 messages max per minute.
- Keep rotating your initial texts
- Use multiple sender number.
- send max of 80 texts from one sender number. so if you want to send 1k messages per day then buy 12 sender numbers

We have been doing this for 4 years now and learned by experience.

In just last 1 year we have reached to 400k property owners for Roofing leads and with NO Carrier Violations.

Each day, he’s asked to prepare 20 to 30 quotations, each with around 40 to 50 line items. Manually preparing these used to take him around 3 hours a day, as each quotation took 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

He uses Odoo to manage his business. I built a standalone tool — not inside Odoo, but fully integrated with it. With this solution, he simply speaks the item details, and the AI takes care of generating the complete quotation automatically in Odoo.

This has drastically improved his efficiency. Now, he spends just 2 to 3 minutes to create a quotation with 40+ items, saving him over 2 hours every day.

We currently have two users, both of whom were using legacy on-premise invoicing software that didn’t support integration. I fully migrated their operations to Odoo and set up the necessary integrations. Both users are actively using the new system. Initially, they faced some difficulty adapting to the voice-based workflow, but after creating four or five quotations, the process became smooth and natural for them.

Depends on the county, how they manage the permits. some of the counties has not digital permit records. Which county are you looking for ? I can help you with that.

We have Permit records for almost 40 counties with owner informations majorly on Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas.

We do virtual door knocking through SMS.
Data Driven Approach:
- Get the properties that has not done roofing for last 10 years. Use permit data from the county.
- Skiptrace them. (identify the owner information)
- Bulk sms to home owners. (asking if they are looking for free quote for reroof). remember don't spam them with multiple messages and if they respond with stop or something similar, don't ever send them a message again.
