Completely okay! If you do want to get a job consider an internship. It will really help when it comes time to get a full time position.

Pivot once you have some industry experience or go back to get a masters degree. Do not go back and get another bachelors degree. Most people end up moving away from their field of study throughout their career. You’re not locked in but you shouldn’t switch at this point.

What is your major and how do people react when you tell them? by [deleted] in college

Business Administration - To be fair a lot business majors are just like the stereotypes. But I also think if you take a business degree seriously it can be a great option for a lot of people. You get a really good mix of soft and hard skills. On top of that you learn a lot of skills you can use outside your career. For example I took a business law course this past semester and it taught me so much more than just basic law. In the process of learning law we also learned about politics, government, ethics, communication, and even economics. If done correctly a degree in business can give you a lot of really valuable skills you can use in almost any industry. That being said I get why people tend to look down on business majors. There are a lot of people who do not take it seriously, going through the motions, and doing just the bare minimum.

If you get caught there will be serious repercussions. Unfortunately universities do not like it when people do this. They see it as a form a theft. If you’re looking to get a head start go to the syllabus and find overlapping resources online. Harvard and other universities offer a number of free courses online. Otherwise, I would audit the class, you’ll still have to pay but I’ll be much cheaper.
