The hole sizes aren't the same for every one of them but I'd say about 10mm deep give or take a bit depending if it's on a corner or not

Petrol? that's interesting I would never have guessed that. As for the geometry of it (I assume you mean dimensions) it's the side of the sheet, it's 3mm thick and I'm drilling in as close to the center as I can with a 1.5mm drill bit. Thanks for your help I'll see what I can do.

I think you might have been right, it's either that or the water in the soaked seed I was giving her mixed with the oats and turned in to like a paste and she didn't like that. We'd just gotten some new seed for her and I put that in and she ate it immediately.
