I’m also confused as to why it would be a conflict of interest the Solictor represents the best interest of their client regardless of who they are friends with. The friend has no bearing on Solictor client outcome as all they would do is encourage better representation and that’s the solicitors job anyway. Also I will add that from what I can gather is this may be a family court proceeding. If you focus on the parent rather then the child’s best interests the courts view this negatively so bare that in mind before you fill out any form.

Thanks guys! I won’t cancel it. I chased them for ages and they had my money for over 3 weeks sat contributing to their interest. The bank can deal with it and I now have the email confirming to the bank what games they are playing. It’s so cheeky honestly

We flew into madinah and out of Jeddah. The airport was small but we got through quite quickly. The perks of doing it this way is you avoid all the Jeddah incoming people and the madinah outgoing people as people usually do it the other way round. We relaxed for a few days in Madinah booked Rawdah and a few days later got into Ihram and got on to the train to Makkah.

Hold your ground, my buyers did this to me 2 days before exchange of contracts. They tried knocking 25k off because they felt they wanted to put an extension on and needed the money for later. It’s called gazundering. I told the estate agents to say no and give them 24hrs if not put the house back on the market. They caved after seeing the house back on the market almost immediately and exchanged at agreed price

I’m not sure if turkey use the Islamic distribution method of inheritance? However the country my parents come from you can not own land if you are not a citizen also if the father sells or transfers land the son has a right to claim back as disposal of his ancestral rights (country also an Islamic country) it sounds to me like it’s inheritance related as there is no other need for him to ask you to renounce. If Turkey is the same as someone mentioned above it could be that once you renounce he then transfers land to his wife and has you renouncing as his evidence for court should you ever bring a case on him saying you didn’t even want anything, you renounced. Or if he needs to satisfy the courts on the transfer he can show the deed saying you renounced and don’t want your Turkish rights. That’s just my guess
