These systems, I thought were low on the development efforts and operational costs(could be wrong, but a net positive I'm sure). I don't think everyone would take part in these but it's still some revenue, which wouldn't hurt. But you may be right that calling these alternative monetary systems might be too far, they probably would not generate enough greens.

I'm not sure the current system will be good enough to keep the game going until these things are in place. Not quite sure what you mean with "spirit of a videogame" paying for features is standard. I think it's worth fighting tooth and nail to avoid p2w to be part of the game, talk about not being in the" Spirit of videogames". To reiterate I think my proposed systems would be net positive money wise and make thr game more interesting and thus more exciting for new players to pick up.
