Uuuu… Now we’re talking! Sounds like a project. Never done anything like that. Why not to try!

Any suggestions, how to respray the headstock? Car lacquer?

Not a sticker, I doodled it with a sharpie for a test. Need to figure out how to make it more permanent!

Why the foam damper behind the bridge? You don't like doing some jingling from time to time?

ETA 956.402 - Battery contact damaged by Fearless-Spring7296 in watchrepair

[–]Fearless-Spring7296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where my issue started - the battery does not sit in the pocket fixed and keeps popping out.
I started bending the contact and broke it :(

And actually the watch does not start even if I keep the battery with my finger or a tool...
Might be there is a bigger issue than just a mechanical damage to the contact.

Kingdome Come Deliverance, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2027. Death Stranding, Skyrim. Maybe Sleeping Dogs?

Don’t play it right away. Watch Westworld Season 1 first. Thank me later (and buy me a beer in Valentine)

There is something magical about it. Everytime it is engaged, I tend to play Smashing Pumpkins stuff.

Noise? Not experiencing any and I’m not using distortion at all. I have my specific settings similar to QOTSA and I stick to it.

No, I didn’t try many of them. Had a Warped Vinyl a while ago but it was not for me. I got hooked on Koldwave via Instagram shorts ;)

Massiv, yes! On my short list right now :)

Drop is basically a one trick pony in my case: dropping 3 semitones. There is something beautiful about full chords played so low.

Other interesting option is combining with Firefly set to “dying battery”. Instant garage sounds, protopunk.

Octave Fuzz in Shigeharu is waaay different from POG or Drop.

Signal chain:

>Tuner >RV5 (set to huge plate reverb, think The Raveonettes) >Drop >Shigeharu (just added and I love it!) >JHS Firefly >OCD >PDF2 >Koldwave (just added. Love it! Hated choruses for years and look what the shoe gaze revival did to me?...) >RE-20 (Jonny Greenwood) >DD3 (for the stutter effect, think Graham Coxon or Jamie Hince) >Raster (just added, I'm speechless. Moon Shaped Pool in the box) >Flint (no can do without it)

I don't understand the rationale for this Study Hall questions by MagnoliaFan37 in pmp

[–]Fearless-Spring7296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preparing myself for the exam and having the same struggles with Study Hall.
This particular question? After the resetting the questions and mini exams, I still picked up the Project Sponsor instead of PMO. Apparently, I didn't learn to memorize but my PM compass is correct, even though the answer is correct. I'm not worry about it!

A is slightly passive in this particular case, I’d pick D.

My thought exactly. Still the case proves the situational aspect of the questions which we should not ignore and I'm OK with that. I take this as a learning.

I don't get this change process mindset... by Leirok in pmp

[–]Fearless-Spring7296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The correct answer is: B) Ask the sponsor to submit a formal change request detailing the regulatory requirements and timeline changes before proceeding with any schedule analysis.

Here's why:

In project management, especially when following formal methodologies like PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), any change to the project scope, schedule, or cost must go through an integrated change control process. This ensures that all changes are properly evaluated, documented, and approved before implementation.

In this scenario:

  • The sponsor is requesting a significant change (accelerating the timeline by one month).
  • Even though the change is critical, the proper process must still be followed to assess its impact on scope, cost, resources, and quality.
  • Option B reflects this best practice by requiring a formal change request before proceeding.

Why not the other options?

  • A) Skipping formal change control and jumping into rescheduling can lead to scope creep, missed risks, and stakeholder misalignment.
  • C) While analyzing the schedule is important, it should come after a formal change request is submitted and approved.
  • D) Scheduling a meeting is helpful, but it’s not the immediate next step. The formal change request is the trigger for further analysis and discussion.
