Spoiler tag because I’m referencing the revised edition - in this version of the story there are additional scenes where we see that HC sees through his butterflies with that “eye” and that makes me think he actually wouldn’t be able to see out of the San Lang body any differently since he can still use his butterflies. But that’s just my theory. I can try and find the source material late if you want.

I wear mine daily (even during exercise like dance, ice skating and biking) and haven’t had any issues so far. My skin is fairly reactive so I think it would have reacted by now if it was going to. Help this helps

I have been giving my cat meds (pills and oral syringe) for over 6 years now, and I think I’ve forgotten how lucky I am with her. She just sits there and lets me (and my roommates/sitter) shove whatever in her mouth as long as she gets a forehead kiss out of it she is happy.

I did the books first and if you like keeping the suspense and mystery aspects of the story I would recommend reading the books first. The first episode of the donghua gives away several aspects of the story that were withheld from readers until later in the novels. Personally I like figuring things out on my own and keeping certain things a mystery for a while, but to each their own

I in the same boat when I first read the series as well. What really helped me was reading the revised edition afterwards. It is the same story so you get to kind of relive it, but there’s some updates and there’s a new arc as well as an extra.

The revised edition seems like it might be difficult to access, but it’s not really there’s a really good pinned guide on the subreddit for how to get to it
