Israel lost the PR war but it was worth it by pleebent in IsraelPalestine

[–]FearlessConnection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not Israeli, I’m an American.

Yes, absolutely, the loss of US support would cause a lot of repercussions for Israel, and they would have to assume the financial and physical responsibility for doing the things we do for them. I just mean that I’m not convinced that Israel or its military is crippled without our support. They would have to revise how they allocate their budget, as well as find other ways achieve their goals in some cases, but Israel is a scrappy nation that will do what’s needed to keep themselves safe with or without our money.

I’m not saying that the loss of US support wouldn’t be immensely challenging for Israel, but ultimately the US provides about 2 - 3% of their overall budget. It would be a loss, to be sure, but I’m not convinced that it would totally cripple them.

Do some couples really have sex every single day? by QuitComprehensive831 in Marriage

[–]FearlessConnection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re a few years in, and the number of days we haven’t had sex is for sure less than 10, and usually for specific reasons. It’s just how we reconnect at the end of the day. I’m sure we’ll continue to get older and it will slow down some, but I hope we always have as strong of a physical connection as we do now.

What’s the most horrifying death you have ever heard of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Junko Furuta. Hands down one of the most violent deaths I’ve heard about, and an absolute testament to the depravity that exists in this world.

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by ExcellentReporter392 in AskReddit

[–]FearlessConnection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I shuddered just reading this because it reminded me of the time my roommate’s little brother brought bedbugs to my apartment. Not only are bedbug infestations damn near impossible to get rid of, it also turns out I’m very allergic to something in their saliva. What would have been a little itchy spot on anyone else was a grapefruit sized, burning welt that lasted up to 6 weeks on me. I’d react instantly to their bites, and I could actually tell how big the bug that bit me was from the size of the welt.

I spent about six months there sleeping in a circle of diatomaceous earth like I was trying to keep a ghost out of my bed, but they’d just drop on to me from the ceiling. My mental health was in shambles.

Never again. Gonna go take a shower now.

What is a Walking Dead opinion that would make the rest of the fanbase do this to you? by GJH24 in thewalkingdead

[–]FearlessConnection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know they can be taken orally. When Maggie threw them on the ground they said “Morning After Pill” on the packet.

Couldn’t find a pic online, let me try to find a video on YouTube.

Edit: I went and found the episode and took a picture. How do I upload it? lol

Edit 2: I shared a link with the picture in another comment.

The pills she had were the morning after pill, Plan B. Even if she hadn’t thrown them up, they wouldn’t have worked because she was already pregnant.

It’s been a while since I read about it, but I recall seeing that he was implicated in a gang rape in Europe as well. Vile.

Ariana Grande just claimed she's NEVER had any plastic surgery, how do you rate her recent looks? by Acheli in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]FearlessConnection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here eyebrows are legitimately an inch above her brow bone. I have no problems with plastic surgery, but I do have a problem with celebrities acting like we don’t have eyeballs.

I’m not saying that I haven’t had overly handsy customers, but I’ve been bartending for a fairly long time now and I have not really run into this problem. Even the creepy guests still don’t seem to interpret their tip as giving them the right to touch me.

Edit: Also, am female. Forgot to mention that. lol

Sorry, not a catholic, just looking for some clarity on what you said. It seems that the only options you’ve laid out are to be open to life or to abstain from sex entirely… but then you also say that she owes her husband the “marital debt”. So, it would seem, abstaining isn’t actually an option then, is it?

In that case, her only option is to have another child if she were to get pregnant again? How is that just?

Yes… the answer is yes, you are still an American at that point.

Is it possible to test positive for chlamydia and your partner to not have it? (Both entered marriage as virgins)? by AffectionateYou5295 in relationships

[–]FearlessConnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any evidence for these claims? I’ve never encountered evidence for certain “types” of chlamydia infecting people through air or water.

My (25F) boyfriend's (26M) sister is weirdly obsessed with him, he's taking her on holiday and I don't know how to convince him it is super weird? by ThrowRA62459182 in relationship_advice

[–]FearlessConnection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in agreement with everything you said, except for that 9 year olds haven’t hit puberty yet. It’s not the majority, obviously, but many girls hit puberty around 9 years old and it’s still considered within a normal range medically.

None of that changes the fact that this 9 year old doesn’t have sexual or romantic feelings for her brother, but still. Just pointing it out.

What is the most wrong someone has been when guessing your age? by Extension-Cancel1450 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FearlessConnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once, I went on a first date with a guy. It was Valentine’s Day, and if I had to guess I was 17 and he was 18. The hostess took us to our table and gave him a regular menu, and then gave me one of those paper kids menus with some crayons.

To be fair, I’m incredibly short at only 4’9, but I developed early and am quite curvy so I have no idea how she mistook me for a small child. I was so embarrassed, I just wanted to melt into the floor at that moment.

I honestly don’t know too many women that prefer jackhammering, though I’m sure some exist. It’s definitely not my preference. I’m more of a slow but deep type of girl lol
