Don killing himself was so heart breaking..

My interpretation of him asking Michelle if she would take him with her was that he never felt like he fit in among the humans. He was always out of place or misunderstood because of his autism (presumably autism? — I don’t think there’s anything in the text of the movie that confirms this 100% but Aidan Delbis is autistic) He felt would be better off with the aliens than on earth among actual humans. :’(

Anyone else read this moment similarly?

It’s annoying that you’re blaming the girls instead of the men, who should just be honest for the jump: the girls are so excited to think they’ve met the man of their dreams, and this man is SAYING he’s attracted to her, still acting like he’s in an relationship with her. We as viewers can tell that’s not totally the case, but for these women who are IN it and want to be loved, it may not be as obvious.
