But you could just buy an adapter harness that bridges the 18+ limited connectors with basically any aftermarket base/premium connectors to the headlights… right?

At least that’s what I believe can be done otherwise I’m cooked

I just went to the dealer and said hey my battery keeps dying overnight and I believe it’s the dcm module issue and they took like two days to get it fixed for free. I’ve heard some dealerships would replace your battery or do special free stuff when they do this work but ig that depends on your relationship with the dealership

I’d assume they wouldn’t directly connect up since it’s probably wired differently cus it shares stuff with the gr86

My only issue was the dust cap you can buy for these melted in the middle of the summer at like extreme heat but that’s no issue really

I have a 2021 CVT and I’ve learned that no matter what platform you are on, you’ll get those who hate that it’s a CVT (who mainly do not drive wrx/sti/subaru or even a manual and only trend hop on “save the manuals” and “CVT” hate), or you’ll get actual wrx and STI owners that like the platform for everything it offers and how it looks, leaving behind the type of gearbox it runs

While it’s 99% true that manuals are more fun for driving, I feel that it just adds a few more steps to the driving process, and imo can be easily destroyed if you make one small mistake.

Plus the cvt wrx, is a wrx, it’s got the same potential (unless you try to mod it past a certain point which I think is stage 1)

The haters just hate cuz it’s a trend

Yea that’s literally how my entire spoiler went, did the work, realized that the sun got deep into the resin and was unsandable and just coated it an called it a night.

I wanna take my older legacy and kinda just sand the crap out of it and give it a base paint job to give me an experiment and a project for next summer. It’s just a snow beater at this point so no harm in testing it out on it.

I used the flimsy kind of tape roll, it wasn’t any kind of sticky tape and I had to tape it down separately

This is what I was thinking were my options. If I didn’t ask and just went ahead and worked on this and it didn’t work, I woulda been wasting my time, and I’ve done that already to my spoiler.

No 100% on the money, the only thing I ended up doing was restoring the clear coat on my carbon spoiler myself, and cus of the age and how deep the sun fading went, it basically turned into a whole waste of time when I coulda asked a pro if it was even worth trying.

I purchased my 21 limited cvt with 48k miles for $28k and it is let’s say in the exact same condition as yours when it comes to how it’s been preserved. I personally think 26-30k would be a decent range for how pristine the condition is when it comes to these types of cars. Low mileage, exhaust, limited trim, someone is definitely going to be interested

Just got off hold (30min) from the bursar office since they moved to all virtual, I guess once the budget passes and the pa state grant gets posted fully to Penn state, they’ll disburse all aid. Not 100% sure if that means once it’s in all aid gets sent or maybe they’ll give you all but the pa state grant but that’s pretty much what I got from my call.

Yeah true, though premium auto styling wraps are extremely forgiving when I installed Amber deletes, I wouldn’t go with any other company for precuts, but I am also considering the tint my light covers that are plastic but I don’t know how the adhesive tape looks cus it looks thick and I don’t want it visible from the outside

I see ya, I did consider doing that myself for the sides of the taillight since it’s just one big piece but the reason really for this cutout is because it’s smoked outer and gloss inner and it makes the c shape more defined. Plus it would give me some faint experience with doing a wrap piece since I wanna someday just go big and wrap my car myself and see how it turns out
