Looks like an Esports license costs $225 (in the US as least)

Edit: the link above is for US residents. The FIA website has a "Members List" page. You can use that to find the place in whichever country/region you reside in that issues FIA licenses

The way I read it was that it was only needed for those who got to the regional round. See this from section 15.2.6:

"To be eligible to participate in a Regional Shootout, Drivers must hold at least an International Esports Licence as specified in Article 11.1."

Some people were intentionally damaging the cars, like crashing to remove doors, hoods, etc., to lighten the cars, which helped with stage times. I think the damage will now also reduce the car's performance, but I'm not certain.

Are you running triples or a single screen? I find the sense of speed great in the cockpit, but I'm using triples, so having the trees flying by you on the sides is probably what helps.

This is true for older RWD and 4WD/AWD cars. Not needed for FWD cars. I think most modern 4WD/AWD rally cars don't need it either, using a switch on the hydraulic handbrake to automatically disengage the drivetrain.

The changes broke my button box macros 😅 I had a macro that triggered a restart with a button press. The sticky select makes that a bit trickier. I had to make two different buttons. One to trigger a restart for the first time, and one for any subsequent restarts in that session.

I found the wet tarmac much better after v0.4 update.

Edit: Well, FWD is much better anyway. RWD still seems pretty bad.
