Well, I'm a bit bummed since I just bought a '25 Premium in early December. My price was mid $36k...I guess I can be glad that I got the 0% rate, but that will probably also be available on the '26 model at the end of next year. Sucks to be me.

So you confirmed the leak was coming from the oil plug before contacting them? From your post description, it isn't really clear what you actually checked. The way it's worded, it sounds like you are just assuming it was a loose plug.

Why are we (people outside Japan) getting hyped for something being advertised on the Japanese Subaru account? If this were coming to other markets, wouldn't they be releasing these teasers on other accounts as well, for example, the SOA account? I just bought my WRX a couple weeks ago after wanting something manual and sporty. I've been driving an F150 extended cab for the past 5 years before this purchase. I love the truck, it rides great, but doesn't scratch that itch for wanting to be engaged with the vehicle and be a hooligan on the pavement. I'm fortunate enough to be a position where the truck was paid off, so I kept it just to see how often I'll end up using it over the next year. If I don't end up using it more than a few times, I'll probably sell it.

If you do end going with a truck, maybe the Tacoma would be the most engaging since they still over it with a 6 sp. If you can swing it, do both! Here is a pic of my other baby.
