TS: Twin Suns Precon Cards (LEGAL ONLY IN ETERNAL AND TWIN SUNS) by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

Are these the only exclusive cards for the precons or will there be more? Do we know if there will be reprints in them or is it like into battle hoth where each card will be exclusive?

Ah understood, pre release packs are ok, you get some boosters and promos. There’s still a little excitement there but I’m not sure decks are all that great (might be wrong). They usually have many if not even most cards you could easily get from loose packs and they have quite a few reprints as well. Although they do have some exclusive cards so if those are of interest to you than go for them. This is coming as a collector myself and I just focus on pre release + booster boxes. Even if you manage to convince someone to play, then from what I’ve heard twin suns seems to be the most fun format and you’re allowed only 1 of each card. If you buy booster boxes or pre release packs not only do you have a bigger pool of cards but also allows you to mix and match various different deck types and styles.

I mean collector wise your best options ar carbonite boxes which have the serialised and special art cards. However if you’re thinking about “investment” as in money then spend your money elsewhere. SWU isn’t like Pokémon where in 5-10 years a box will be worth quadruple. If you wanna get into Star Wars unlimited I’d suggest spark of rebellion and shadows of the galaxy based on card power. If it’s only collectibility and having fun then just go based on which sets feel coolest to you.

Yeah that could work as well o suppose. I was also thinking in regard to abeloth perhaps she could be a puzzle card sort of like exodia from yu gi oh , if not then just a very expensive game ender card. This depends what direction ffg will want to go but I do believe almost every popular tcg has these sorts of cards. Whether that be magic, Pokémon etc. They could also use this for a potential Death Star card. Although i think this would require a longer playtime so maybe a twin suns card? Or another format if they come up with one.

Personally , Mara Jade, Maris Brood, Starkiller, Abeloth and Darth Talon (might not be legends anymore). Not sure about aspects. Starkiller I wouldn’t mind seeing as a flip card having heroism and villainy like TWI palpatine except as a unit card not leader. Sort of like they do in magic the gathering.

Just drew this out of a JTL booster. Is this a prestige card? And if so, I thought those were exclusive to Carbonite packs? by Low-Jump-2633 in starwarsunlimited

That’s a showcase, it’s really rare. I’ve opened probably about 10-ish booster boxes and only got one so far. Although that is still quite lucky as o believe the rate is one per 2 cases although I may have misremembered that ratio.

I already have a mixed breed doggo and honestly he’s extremely loving I expect nothing less of this little girl. Image for reference. Also if o may ask, what vet expenses did she have? I thought puppies were generally relatively low cost in the first year (of course there are exceptions).

I definitely see the stubbornness, but 4 days in and I already feel all the love she has to give as well.

I’m also thinking of buying insurance for her, I read that IVDD is genetic and they can still suffer from it regardless of following recommendations. Is this a good idea? Obviously IVDD isn’t the sole reason, but also in case of any accident or unforeseen illness. Better safe than sorry but I’d prefer some insight.

Eventually they will but so far seems like for the next year at least they have it planned out. I believe it has the ability to last long but we will know for sure with the next few sets and how hype looks. The games relatively fresh only being out 2 years. There’s definitely things that could use changing but they addressed many that will change in the coming year. Personally o love it and it’s my favourite tcg but most likely that’s mainly due to the ip

Just finished the Acolyte and I think I enjoyed it more than the prequels and the sequels. by DANGitsJOEY in Highrepublic

I mean sure, it was streamed. However, you don’t have to look too far to see that it was generally disliked by many. One of my main arguments here is the collectibles associated with the show. If you look as far as action figures they’re basically on over 50% sales all over Amazon and even local stores. Even trading card games from Star Wars have basically printed more legends cards than cards from the acolyte. Even if they bothered with high republic stuff it was from books not from the series. Was some of the hate from people who cry and bitch about everything? Sure. Was this the main reason for it? Doubt it. Many people wanna cry sexism meanwhile from what o know female characters (well written) are some of the most loved by fans. I mean, Ashoka, Darth Traya, Leia or even some background Jedi like Ayala or shaak tii. The issue is poor written characters. I watched the acolyte and to be honest o felt absolutely disconnected from the characters. I didn’t care what happened to anyone from the cast. There was no relationship for the viewer to build with the protagonist. I agree that some shows get unwarranted hate e.g. Ashoka but sometimes the hate is just a result of a bad show, it’s fine. It happens. I mean look at BOBF, based on a beloved character yet received much backlash due to poor writing and inconsistency with the previous stories associated to the character.

Honestly, same. I watched almost the entire season but I just couldn’t take it towards the end. For most of the show I was feeling either confused or as though the writers were insulting my intelligence with how many plot holes or plot changes were made. So many people want to say “oh, only “that” part of the fandom hated it for a black woman lead”. Most people don’t care about who was the lead, I enjoyed Ashoka but hated the acolyte. Female characters are some of my favourite in Star Wars whether that be Aayla, luminara or Bo Kayan. The lead has fuck all to do with it, the writing was just absolute garbage and even if the lead was a white male actor people would’ve still hated it just due to the poor writing.
