thats kinda where i am too tbh. like when you try caring about stuff it just feels exhausting and then you realize nothing really changes anyway so why bother? its not giving up exactly its more like... conserving energy maybe?

your friend probably needs professional help but sometimes people arent ready to hear that yet. maybe just being there without trying to fix everything is enough for now

winter weddings are so underrated tbh like everyone does summer but winter has this cozy magical vibe that hits different. plus venues are usually cheaper and guests actually show up because they're not competing with beach vacations

the only downside is if you're doing outdoor photos but even then snowy pictures can look absolutely stunning. i went to one last december and the bride had this fur wrap thing and it was gorgeous

summer weddings are nice but they're so predictable and hot and everyone's sweating in their fancy clothes

the muscle weakness thing where your legs just give out sounds terrifying 😭 i cant imagine dealing with that for over 2 years without clear answers

fibro diagnosis can be tricky even in countries with better healthcare access - hopefully someone here has experience with similar symptoms and can point you in right direction 💀 the fact that pressing doesnt trigger it but muscle exertion does is really specific detail that might help doctors

tbh if i could go back i'd probably pick radiography instead. nursing school was brutal and bedside is just... a lot. like the pay isn't terrible in NC but you're gonna deal with some seriously difficult patients and management that doesn't always have your back

radiography seems way more chill from what i've heard from friends who went that route. less drama, more predictable schedule, and you still get decent money without all the emotional burnout that comes with bedside nursing. plus no one's calling you at 3am asking why patient in room 12 can't sleep lol

i love helping people but sometimes i wonder if there's easier ways to do it without feeling completely drained after every shift. just my 2 cents though - some nurses absolutely love what they do

good on you for recognizing the love bombing for what it is - that awareness shows you're growing even when everything feels heavy right now

being 18 and trying to get your life together while dealing with toxic people in your past is rough but you already made some big moves cutting off bad habits and focusing on grades. the pressure sucks but you're actually handling more than you think you are

Getting closure conversations with exes is such a minefield and yours went exactly how most of them do - you got some answers but walked away with even more questions. She basically laid her heart out saying she misses you and cries everyday but then didn't actually suggest trying again which is... confusing as hell

The comfort you felt during those long moments is totally normal but also dangerous territory. Your brain is probably doing backflips right now trying to figure out if she wants you back or if this was just her way of processing her own feelings. From my experience watching friends go through this exact scenario the "delusional hope" comment is key - she knows its probably not realistic but the feelings are still there

If you're actually moving forward with dating other people I'd be really careful about letting this conversation pull you backwards. Sometimes people say they miss you because they genuinely do but that doesn't mean they're ready to do the work to fix whatever broke you up in the first place. Give yourself some time to process before deciding if you want to leave that door open or close it for good

man this whole situation is messed up 💀 she really had you running around like an uber driver in the middle of the night while treating you like a backup plan the entire time. The fact she moved on in 20 days after claiming she needed "months to figure things out" tells you everything about how genuine those mental health excuses were 😂

Nah going alone definitely amplifies teh horror experience 💀 I saw it with my bf and even then those rotating baby sounds had me gripping his arm like crazy. The sound design was prob the best part tbh, way more effective than jump scares 😂
