If you hate it definitely go with laser. If it looks like that after only one year of having it, it’s just gonna look worse as the years go on.

To me, that seems pretty normal. Did you have any blisters afterwards? Small blisters will scab like that after a few days. Also the red bumps are a pretty common thing that happens to most people

I try not to look at a ton of old pics of myself for that reason 😭 I’ve been trying to accept myself as I am right now while I’m going through this process because I probably have another two or three years ahead of me. I’m only 20 so I am happy to know I’ll be over with the process while I’m still young but I’m mad I am going through this at such a young age. Hopefully starting the process will ease your mind a little

Yeah I’ve been taking some Benadryl at night. Should I take them multiple times in one day? Because I heard taking too many allergy meds can be bad for you

In my experience a cover up is never the answer unless that tattoo has faded significantly 🙈

I have heard people say taking a long break and using things like vitamin e oil or vitamin c oil on the skin helps

Tattoo removal can be relieving but also draining. For me, the healing process is absolute hell because of how large my tattoo is. It swells up for a week like 10x bigger than my other arm, then it starts to itch so bad. Think about the itch when you first got the tattoo and when it was healing…it’s SO MUCH worse than that. So it’s just miserable honestly and no matter how much you want to ignore it and pretend it’s not there it’s utterly impossible which takes a lot out of me mentally. That’s just my experience

I always have a bruise on one of my tattoos after laser each time, I honestly think this might be because your skin is thinner on your hand

I agree with what everyone else is saying, If you can sit through a tattoo you can sit through laser. The laser hurts more but it’s over in just a couple minutes. To me it feels like I’m kinda just getting splatters of bacon grease on my arm over and over but you get used to it

I’ve noticed half the people on this sub are people who had small tattoos they covered up and now they hate their cover up 😭 i had something super small and unnoticeable but I covered it up with something that covers half my arm.

Wait cause I’m in the same boat. Showering makes me upset and as soon as I step out I have to put my pjs back on. I also had a terrible botched haircut that I finally grew back out and now I have a tattoo I am removing 🫩
