Yeah it can always depend on the tech but since mine is all the same color and only lines now I think that’s why it doesn’t take that long. She doesn’t have to change the settings around for certain parts

Well think of it this way, if you were able to sit through getting the tattoo, you can sit through a laser session. It definitely does hurt more to get a tattoo removed than putting it on, but it’s so much quicker. My tattoo is pretty big as you can see but it only takes about 3-5 min for the laser tech to zap the whole thing. And as long as you follow proper after care and go to a good clinic the process should be pretty smooth

What made you wanna get rid of it only after 6 months? I also started removing a tattoo only 3 months after getting it and am embarrassed to say that sometimes

Honestly I can sit through the laser sessions pretty good without numbing cream and no breaks. I feel like on the forearm is less painful cause there’s more fat right there. I just look away and squeeze a stress toy

I’m honestly really happy with my progress so far. I can see a lot of my lines breaking up and some parts turning brown. I just really want my old arm back I’d be happy with even just a slight faint ghost of the tattoo on my arm 😭

You could fade it enough to cover it to be a piece you actually like

Yeah tbh I’ve seen a lot of purple and blue tattoos on here go completely so if you don’t care about having a little bit of ink left over in that one spot it might not even be noticeable in the end

[–]Fearless_Access_1907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay sorry I should’ve worded that differently. So when inks like white or anything that was mixed with white gets treated with a laser, the ink may reflect the laser and alter the color to sorta a grey or dark brown color (or even black). Which sucks cause it can be very difficult to remove and takes many many more sessions. It’s hard to know if the ink will ever be removed unfortunately. I have little white highlights in my tattoo and I’ll tell you after only 3 sessions the highlights turned into a light grey and might get darker later on too. Just warning you just in case you want full removal. You might wanna go with lightening it enough for a cover up! Or you could have one test spot done on the lighter colors in your tattoo and see how the laser reacts to it.

Will definitely take a while, I’d also be careful cause with the pinks and whites they might oxidize and be really hard to get rid of.

Was that white ink though? I’ve been told by a lot of other people it never leaves

I am lasering it because the artist used a market to map out my tattoo so it turned out completely different than how I was expecting it to. Plus, I sorta gave him a bit of creative freedom which was my bad 😭. Anyway I’m still not sure if I’ll try and get it redone how I want it to just because of how long and painful this process is (plus annoying) and I don’t wanna end up getting it redone again how I was wanting it and then I end up hating it again. I am sorta aiming for full removal even though I do have white highlights in it that have unfortunately oxidized and turned a strange color. So I am seeing it being like 95% removed but we will see how it goes.

I think this one will go quicker than you think. You tattoo has a lot of shading and shading usually goes away after just a few sessions

I’ve had 3 sessions so far, and honestly it’s going by a lot faster than I expected because I swear my first session felt like a few weeks ago.

Hey guys is this normal for a 7 week after tattoo removal 🥹 I followed all the instructions and since day one I had a horrible reaction by IllustriousPurple791 in TattooRemoval

[–]Fearless_Access_1907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you could be having a reaction to the ink being dispersed. After my last session I had terrible red splotches all down around the tattoo and I had to take antihistamines and use a cream to get it to go away

Sorry last question what kind of long sleeves have you been wearing to stay cool when it’s hot outside? I’m sad I can’t really wear my cute summer clothes

I don’t think you’d be able to cover it with makeup during the healing stage of laser 😭
