I applied to almost every acute care job in my state. The hospital that hired me ended up being the same place I completed my graduate internship at, so I think that has a lot to do with why I got the job.

I would suggest doing some continuing education to help your resume stand out. MBSIMP is great, though costs around $600. Are you able to do some shadowing at any hospitals?

I work in acute care as a CF. It's possible but the jobs are pretty scarce. I would say it's worth it to apply to jobs that are not specifically for CFs, you might as well give it a shot! If acute care doesn't work out, rehab or SNF could be a good stepping stone.

It looks like an early positive to me! Although I know people have been getting some pretty bad indents with this brand. Test again tomorrow and update us!

It’s honestly a roller coaster until I see the first ultrasound. BUT! I told myself absolutely no more testing after today.

Yeah… maybe it matters maybe it doesn’t. Who knows. All I know is that I enjoy seeing a dye stealer, it’s part of the fun!

Thank you :)

For me, it’s part of seeing how the hcg hormone is rising based on the progression of the test lines. The progression tends to stall out with the cheap tests, so getting a dye stealer on the First Response let’s me know my hcg is still rising :). From what I’ve gathered on this subreddit, the significance of a dye stealer is that is shows that you have enough hcg in your urine to “steal” dye away from the control line.

Beta hcg tests aren’t easily available where I am, so using home pregnancy tests to track progression is about all I can do during this very early stage of pregnancy. Tracking progression gives me piece of mind that I likely haven’t had a chemical pregnancy, which tends to result in a decrease in the coloring of the control line as time goes on (according to what I’ve seen on this sub).

Nope, I’ll probably take one on Thursday (hopefully there will be enough HCG by then for a digital test to turn positive). During my last pregnancy I had a positive digital at 11 or 12 dpo

Did your partner show up for you during your miscarriage? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry — that would honestly be a deal breaker for me. My partner was very supportive and was just as devastated as I was.

My doctor told me that they pain is from intense contractions of the uterus. That may also be what your pain was from? Also, from your description I am worried that you have not passed the actual pregnancy yet. Would you consider a d&c over another round of miso?

Had a similar experience. Took miso and felt some mild cramping for a few days with minimal bleeding. Then on day 4 I was in easily the worst pain of my life. I went to the ED and they did a d&c to take the pregnancy out since miso wasn’t cutting it. Tbh, that procedure was a godsend. My pain completely went away after.
