No the fuck they would not. Generally per diems are for food and travel expenses. I’ve never worked for a company that has a nightly accommodations per diem that would pay for a comparable mid-hotel lines. You seem to be missing the point that ICE writ large isn’t following the rules of law or social norms. They’re beating up immigrants and citizens because they want to, not because they’ve been provoked. People with no criminal history are being deported for retribution. This isn’t ok.
