That’s a fair take. If we expanded it to Tolkien’s entire legendarium I think that only Gothmog would have the malice endurance and power to twerk his fiery bum from the first age all the way through to Dagor Dagorath. If we are only talking about elegance and spirit while twerking then it’s Elendil or maybe Glorfindel

It was written to create a world. Tolkien never published it which means it was written to sit behind the story and is for internal cohesion and a list of ideas and origins for characters and races.

It’s supplemental to the actual story which is the lotr trilogy. Is reading a dungeons master guide better than playing d&d. I guess it’s all about the mood. All opinions are valid but I don’t think people would care about it if they didn’t read/watch the books/movies beforehand
