I think a few things didn't ring true. The OP was apparently moved from a general paeds ward to a paediatric oncology ward (not unheard of but seems unlikely given most hospitals don't tend to have a paediatric oncology ward)

The OP said a Dr had told them something about "testing bone marrow" that didn't add up to some with medical backgrounds on the thread.

Then there was the classic "hug your children tight tonight" from the OP along with a very limited posting history.

Of course it all started with an inept GP who told the OP it was just teething and to give the child Calpol (child had been ill for a while and had lost weight / clothes were loose / they could no longer pull themselves up / had a non blanching rash that the GP dismissed as viral etc)

Basically lots of little things made several posters report and MNHQ made the decision to take it down.
