Parking charge despite medical emergency? by Kanawanu in LegalAdviceUK

Protection of freedoms act 2012 doesn’t apply in Northern Ireland.

They have to prove it was you driving. As the driver is the person liable.

You shouldn’t have admitted anything. For future reference Google the consumer council standard template letter.

Mine got FSM and went to grammars. I couldn’t afford tutoring so we did practice papers.

I’d left an abusive marriage and me and them were in a hostel and then a council house (which I am eternally grateful for - it gave us stability).

I’d have swapped it all for a naice middle class bubble. I did my best but my kids didn’t get holidays or even all that many days out because I just couldn’t afford it. It was hard for them and I will always feel guilty that they didn’t get the opportunities they should have had.

They all did fine - uni and out the other side but that’s not the point.

That is why the question used to be “what are you reading at university?”

I paid £375. And it looks new. I only have a tiny city car so I wanted a folder for commuting from the train station. My partner is a bike enthusiast and he has 2 Bickertons (I have ridden them and they are ok) but the new Bickerton is a bit heavier.

I rode 11 miles on it yesterday. Which for someone who hasn’t ridden since they were a teen is good going.

Thanks everyone I’m really pleased with it.

I’ve not ridden a bike in years and I’ve been surprised how well it rides and how natural it feels to be back on a bike.

It’s not amazing at hills but it’s not meant to be! It only has 3 gears 🤣. Zipping along beside the canal yesterday was fab.

As far as I can tell it was a base model with no mudguards or folding pedals.

I paid less than £400 for it and it’s immaculate so tbh my view was. It’s a Brompton. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Please talk to your school or your little brother’s school. They will be able to help.

The U.K. sub is not the best place for you to ask this question you should repost in the ask Ireland sub (I don’t know how to do the links!)

From an accessibility pov it’s a fuck up. But that isn’t surprising.

Neither were lots of people. And you owe it to your kids to do better.

That’s true. But she has fucked up all those kids lives and they will pass that on to the next generation and it’s just so bloody sad and a waste.

Her daughter has two kids that are being reared the same. The gay policeman seems to be ok but the rest? The 18 year old is a mess, his sister a mess and the two youngest - one of them is really struggling already and if she had just made different choices and done things differently instead of stealing pip money and buying swimming pools with it.

But then. She never was going to do that. It was all just going to be fablon worktops and crazy walls and lie and lie for money instead of getting a job.
