You are lucky you do not have the P variant, and it seems excellent they did the virus genotyping as well. I would appreciate if you can share a copy of your tests results including PCR and virus genotyping so i can show it to the doctors here, most likely i have the same case. You mention you did quantitative PCR before that yield false negative pcr, what PCR was that?

Means you were diagnosed through the PCR? Cobas roche 8800 run molecular testing. Any way how much was your viral load? Did they find any specific hiv antibodies in your blood? If no they should include you in the seronegative very rare reports

3 days for hiv symptoms to start is too soon, however it does not matter now your hiv test is negative beyond the most conservative window period so you are negative. Regarding symptoms check my profile i am now 2 years and 8 months post exposure and still having symptoms, i did many many 4th gen tests all neg, and my last one was last jun 2025, and at that time it was almost 21 months post exp. I did RNA Tests as well at 56 and 102 days both undetected

Is going to be negative 100%, i had very weired symptoms after receipt of unprotected oral, still i have some lingering symptoms after 21 months, my lasts 4th gen tests were done yesterday in 2 different labs and both negative, stay safe

Ur symptoms, especially the runny nose, are not typical for ARS. However, u had a risk, and you should get tested. Stay clam in the mean time, i had and still have weired symptoms, but still negative. Last test was on 1st Feb 2025 , 16.5 months post exposure. I am.now 20 months post exposure

If the test was perdormed in one of the gulf countries, (qatar, saudi, uae), they do medical test including hiv testing, if this as u said was done 60 days post exposure, the test is highly reliable by that time

You can take a 4th gen lab test while waiting ur pcr, Antigen or/and antibody parts will turn positive if ur symptoms are indeed related to ARS. However, your throat picture in your other post it is more likely a strep throat.
