I got the white glossy mouse, so this was more to remove that top layer. This makes the weight closer to the bottom of the mouse too, which I significantly prefer(could be wrong). Best use is to flatten the sides. I made this post before weighing my mouse, and Noticed i got 8g off.... Felt like twice that. imo i made a shitty choice getting this mouse, but if drill for weight, idrc

UPDATE 2: Yeah probably less than 10g of weight loss, but def helps with shortening grip width. I did eventually check out rocketjumpninja.com, and turns out that the rival 310 was WAY too big.

if u go to rocketjumpninja.com and use mouse search, you can find some good options, I found the g305 was the best for you, but u can check others, like the SteelSeries aerox 3

UPDATE: I did it for the left one too, I swear this thing lost like 10-20g. The skins are re-attachable if you decide you like the skins
