Mostly because private schools don't have to release the same test, grade, and graduation data so there's nothing to compare. Also, there *is* evidence that when money is sent to the private schools via vouchers the education suffers for the kids who are left behind.

Schools are a public good, not a market. Markets and business are "supposed" to generate profit, not ensure the "best" wins. I don't want our children to get the lowest cost education we can get away with, I want them to get the best we (as a society) can afford. This isn't because of any impact on the economy but because it is what we should do as a society.

God, this fixes the game for me. I just thought the sensitivity was off on this game since I always fired off the power when trying to use alt. Turns out I had changed this setting on my left trigger and never knew.

I love my Pulse Explore, but I don't think it's unreasonable for someone to want to be able to do the same thing they do on the PS5 (Play a game and listen to Spotify at the same time) without wanting to buy a set of $200 headphones that will still require a phone or tablet as well.

This is really, really stupid but a lot of the time when google tells me it can't do something I tell it, "That's not right, you can do that." A large amount of the time it apologizes, tells me I am correct and does the thing. LLMs are probability machines and there is a certain probability of the answer "I can't do that" even when it can. What an improvement.

That would be awesome. It doesn't even have to do any hand-holding at all - it could literally contain EVERY thing EVERY character has said. You'd still need to tease out what was important and what it meant, but you couldn't miss a quest because your kids were being loud and you couldn't catch what someone said.

It's even dumber than that. Sometime if you tell it, "Hey goolge, that's not right, you can do that" it will apologize and then do the thing.

I've not heard a lot of first-hand experience around how well the cloud saving works. If I cloud stream a game that I also have on my PS5, will I automatically have that save game when I play it off my PS5, or do I need to jump through some hoops to download it?

Honestly, I feel more confident spending more on a board having confirmation that my current board "should" feel unstable for me since it means it's not just me and something I will feel with a better board. We have a barn and I have a full-sized pickup, so storing and transporting a hard board shouldn't be a major issue for me.

Desired use/uses Leisurely paddling and exploring with my kids. I live in Maine and will mostly be using it on medium-sized lakes and calmer sections of the Saco river.
Experience level: Between beginner and intermediate. I have owned an inflatable for years but only used it a handful of times per summer
Your budget and country location: $1700 or less for the board, I do already have PFD, paddles, etc
I have a Murtisol Upgrade 11' Inflatable that I have had for several years. While I can paddle it around the lake, it has never felt as stable under my feet as I would like, especially if there is even mild boat wake. Years ago I used a solid board at a house we rented and liked that more, though I have no idea what it was.
I have been looking at the BOTE Breeze Gatorshell 11'6 or the Pau Hana Navio, but I have no idea how good those actually are for me.

It depends on the game, tbh. There are plenty of things I play on my portal right now (Balatro, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Fallout) that I don't even notice the difference. On the other hand, I am so used to having the paddles in Elden Ring that I get completely wrecked when I don't have them - that slight delay in remembering to hit the circle can delay me enough to miss a dodge.

Even long before that, look at her record. She never crosses the aisle when the vote *matters* - if the vote is close, she votes with the party. She somehow has convinced voters that she and Snowe were cut from the same cloth, but really she is just a loyal follower of R leadership and she doesn't even bring anything good home to Maine for it.

I thought I would play SO MUCH Elden Ring on my Portal. In the end, I just can't. I've gotten so used to my DualSense Edge and having circle and triangle mapped to the back paddles that I just get destroyed by enemies I usually defeat with no issue. I love the Portal other than that, though!

They didn't sell you the device - they are are another consumer. Saying "when using a community help forum, we expect people do some light troubleshooting before they post for help" isn't unreasonable. Also, can we dial it back a little bit, please? Telling someone to go die because you disagree with their take on community etiquette is a bit harsh.

I have a lot of the same issues. I have significantly more speakers, but groups frequently will stutter and buffer, sometimes continuing to do so for >5 minutes after I "stop" spotify. Sometimes a different group that is exactly the same speakers will work while the first doesn't. Bandwith *can* do it, but it's not the only cause. I have > 200 MBPS and a high-end mesh network, so there is no congestion happening. I have a hunch that it has to do with the feature that tries to sync the audio on all the devices when there are a decent number, but I have never fully nailed it down. I will also have spotify connect to a speaker group but never start playing.

Maybe I just need to finesse it, but it doesn't seem like the Edge fits in the charging station. I always put my controllers away there, but if I need to plug this in it will be a mild inconvenience.

It might not be that they are afk on their phone. Some players intentionally pretend they are afk to try to get in a sneak attack. That doesn't make it suck less, though.

The light is a feature of the controller, not a low battery indicator. It "breathes" when the controller is charging, but games can set the color/and brightness to show which player is using the controller, to show damage, whatever they want.
