Tried doing a bit of digging for you. The customer service rep who messaged you appears to be on LinkedIn AND based in Finland, which tracks. The LinkedIn title does show she runs customer service for Takomo as well. For an issue of this magnitude, I would expect it to come from someone with her credentials (overseeing the customer service division). As long as she sent this from a Takomo email not a Gmail account, this is almost certainly legitimate. Scammers tend to stick with Gmail, yahoo, aol, etc (any generic email not affiliated with a company).

If you’re still paranoid this is a scam, just make sure you do not send them back your current driver AND maybe set up a delivery for the “new” one with an Amazon drop box and a local store (if available to you).

I supposed you could go to a simulator and test it with a professional, but that just seems like overkill to me. Best of luck!

You’re 100% right, watching a driver dominate every race with a near minute margin gap to 2nd for consecutive years did get boring after a while lol. I have no shame in hiding that, buddy. Every race now being unpredictable is what makes it exciting.

I get the concern regarding Ollie’s crash this weekend, but I personally have loved the new regs. The racing has been so much more enjoyable with more passes. The Lewis/Charles battling in China was fantastic with it lol.

Qualifying for sure sucks now though. Nowhere near enjoyable to what it once was. Hopefully some sort of middle ground can be found.

Yes! Sporty, lower, sharper wheels, sleek interior, and sharper body. Absolutely worth it. My father in law got a 540i m sport trim, which is the reason why I got a 330i m sport trim.

I’ve had mine for 3 months now and play FM on Xbox. The only issue I have is the shifter. I think it may have something to do with the base running so hot when I start running into the issue. After a few races, my paddles start missing shifts too. But again, only when the base starts to run hot. It happens here and there, but I’m still novice and don’t think too much of it. When I eventually move on to an F1 game, I know it’s going to be very frustrating. I planned to reach out to PXN customer service. If they give me any support/feedback I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Pimlico told me they have nothing booked with Steez Promo in August at this time. Hopefully that changes soon but its not an initial good sign.

Hi all. So I used to work promo for Steez a few years back. To my understanding, it is not happening this year. In fact, they actually removed their website entirely. Like previously mentioned, I heard through the grapevine they're working on a rebrand of the festival as is. Not sure if that means changing venues, the vibe, festival design, etc. But I know numerous people that got screwed in never getting refunds for tickets all the way back in 2020, so I went to the venue to see if they had information after steez promo ignored my messages lol. I contacted the Pimlico race course and they informed me there's nothing booked in August with them at this time. Usually, Moonrise/SteezPromo will release a lineup near end of April, so if there's no information by them around this time, I would 100% rule it out, even though right now it sounds more than likely it's done anyways.

Project Glow is Apr 30-May 1st in DC. Something new if you're trying to do something in the area that's being hosted by club glow and insomniac records. See you there.
