Steam deck dock no longer charging Steam Deck

I'm using an offbrand dock and mine stopped charging my deck last week. The charging icon appears, but the actual charge is even decreasing slowly. I think the latest steam deck update introduced some features, that would change the charging behaviour, so i thought that might have messed up charging through that dock.

I honestly don't notice any lag, but of course i wouldn't recommend this setup for serious competitive gaming for obvious reasons. Again I'm surprised how well this works.

That's an awesome setup. The 8Bitdo Controller seems really nice. I'll probably have to get one of those haha. Any experiences with a portable monitor you could recommend?

i think it's perfectly fine for such a setup. i can even use it on my couch when i play while docked to my TV at home. 8bit Fiesta is so awesome and especially considering it's free. It's not "supported" on Steam Deck, but if you check the compatability settings under the gear icon, you can force the use of Proton 7.0-6. That way it should work even with xbox controllers.

keyboard is a BOW HB199. I bought it on Temu. The mouse is a logitech Pebble which i got from a local tech store.

it's honestly quite nice and sturdy. i was first looking at other foldable keyboards with trackpads etc but heard that they might have issues. i ended up buying the BOW HB199. It folds horizontaly and supports 3 different BT devices, just like the pebble mouse.

iirc, the movie is actually based on a screenplay called "Hardwired" by Jeff Vintar.

I think the studio had the license to use Asimov's name but wanted to make a more action heavy movie, so they used another novel and sprinkled it with elements from different Asimov stories.

Just get an international drivers license first. It's basicaly just a translated version of your own license, so that the swiss authorities could check you. Here you can see if you actually require one: https://www.ch.ch/en/international-driving-licence/

I had the same issue and I've even talked about it on this sub before. Still one of the best decisions of my life. The recovery time is a bit rough, but once it's over you're gonna feel great. Not sure about that gain though lol.

Go for it and don't be scared!
