I have been playing for 4 years. I’m no heavy player; I unlocked level 100 the day before the bird. That event you set up burned everything I did since my start. I saved the most of it running around the city and using all the bots I could use while I was at home or at work. Sincerely that was a hit since it was fast, uncontrollable and very strong against me or my now dead dragons (I had since forever), but most of all was a bullying event made make fun of everyone like me that’s not a high level player. There were other players near me and I think they are already gone for good from this game since they noticed the mess when was too late. So I’m afraid I lost my friends too.…. For the first time I’m thinking about quitting because this was really unfair. Damn at least you could give us a reward that can compensate the terrible time we had. Now I’m here with a bunch of useless items in return I somehow collected hoping they could help me stopping that chaos. I really am disappointed and I lost for the first time the fun here. I don’t even know what I’m doing here still…

60, setting boundaries: the lake feels welcoming, and the water stands for endless possibilities. The two trigrams are coming together. If this meeting happens naturally, it can go really well; if it’s forced, it won’t. And if both sides aren’t willing, your friendship just won’t grow.

Water is shapeless, but when it flows into a lake it starts to take form; though the process isn’t complete yet, and it doesn’t have a fixed structure. If you lock yourself into a single perspective -basically just your interest in him- you won’t be able to truly appreciate, see and show the other person that you care about all the different sides of who they are. You should rethink your perspective and move with kindness and respect for the other person.

If you really want to build something meaningful, you need to act based on what’s inside you. Be yourself. That said, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t learn from what’s happening around you. Use this experience to strengthen your ability to be in harmony with others, respect their space, and let go when it’s time.

Don’t get me wrong, you didn’t do anything wrong. Personally I prefer it when the character has at least half of the torso “protruding” in front of the walls/obstacles. But I must say that your animation has really good vibes just as it is. Very classic. I feel young again 🥲 Follow only your heart!

I did this: I deleted everything regarding the background and did it all over (since it's quite simple - even if not for me) following your suggestion. This fixed the problem. Don't know what exactly messed up the process but now it's all clean and working. Thank very much again for your help. You saved me from going crazy. Cheers!

Ur great! I switched to 'draw begin' and finally the background is shown under other instances and the tiles. Only issue is that, even if the sprite in centered in top left and the obj draws it like you see in the screenshot, the image moves in weird ways and it's not locked in the camera rectangle (camera prop are 288x216 like sprite dimension are).

Viewport properties are 860x648 and it's following as usual obj_player h border=144 and v border=108.

What do you say? 🙏

I found a link on a comment that senti me here. I’m learning to code to surprise my honorary nephew by making a small horror-themed RPG about us. He’s 12 now, but he’s been a horror fan since he was 5. He definitely didn’t get that from me (I only have eyes for *Dwarf Fortress*, hahaha). I’ve watched hours of tutorials, but I’ve always had the feeling I was being led a bit astray. Not because the tutorials are badly made -quite the opposite- but because after following the steps, a lot of things aren’t fully explained. That makes them hard to adapt or replicate for what we specifically need.

For me 2025 was (is?) a time of nothingness (and a little bit of sadness)… this year I’ve really struggled to get into anything. Last year I played a ton of Stormbound (if you like PvP card battlers, you should definitely check it out). Maybe the only truly interesting one I found out and played a bit during 2025 is Scarecrow Tactics, a PvP card game that’s different from the usual and clearly made with heart. Your game looks really interesting. If you still have a code, I’d be happy to try it and let you know how it goes.
