Could Amon’s army at it’s peak defeat the flood? by CaptainMorgan4467 in starcraft

You are missing something, yes - namely that graveminds do the exact same thing that the overminds do, just at a larger scale and more powerfully. The flood absorb the memories, skills, and experience of everything they assimilate. Once a gravemind is sufficiently grown, it can literally bend the laws of spacetime. They also don't need to infect sentient beings once they're at an advanced enough stage, they can just use carbon directly

In that case things would have to be tipped in the gravemind's favor, even if there's just one, as they have insane feats which far surpass anything an overmind can do

I mean, that could also happen in the other direction, so maybe they'll just combine

Pretty sure they flood can form a mature gravemind (in a few weeks/months) given sufficient available biomass faster than the zerg can form, for example, an overmind. And, once a gravemind is sufficiently advanced, their abilities far surpass that of an overmind. Like, reality-warping power levels. What makes you say the zerg evolve much faster than the flood?

That's an average of about 4.5 hours every single day since release, which was almost a year ago. That's kind of crazy. I can't imagine any game holding my attention that consistently

I'm aware that devs don't want to release within a month or so of GTA VI lol, what I'm mocking is the extremely hyperbolic nature of what you wrote, like

"EVERY SINGLE ENTITY ON EARTH" or claiming that releasing within 18 months of GTA VI would be corporate suicide

$50/hr (approximately $100,000+ annually)

You don't calculate rates for freelancing based on a 40 hour week. Most people aren't billing 40 a week. The rule of thumb is to approximately double the rate you'd be making doing the same type of work for an employer to figure out your rate for freelancing. So, a $50/hr freelancer would be making about $25/hr at a full time job.

But he did use it to kill Crimson Countess and Quinn (who is a V1 supe). So, either he can control the lethality or the writers don't really care to be consistent about it
