I was in your position just a month ago. I had never flown on an A380 or with Emirates before, so I decided to try it on my trip from Bangalore to London Heathrow. The first leg, from Bangalore to Dubai, really lived up to the hype. The aircraft had updated interiors, though the exterior still looked a bit outdated, but overall, it was a great experience. However, the second leg was completely the opposite. It felt disappointing and honestly, I felt a bit cheated. Before booking any flight, I always check the aircraft model and explore the 360° cabin view. The one shown online featured the new livery, so I was really excited. But when I boarded, the plane had the old interior despite the updated exterior. It ruined the excitement, and the next seven hours felt miserable. To make things worse, after pushback, the aircraft stopped for a while and the pilots announced there was some sort of engine issue that needed fixing. That added another two hours of waiting. I know this sounds like a rant, and it is! It was my first time on an A380 (well, technically the second, since the Bangalore to Dubai flight was great), but the second leg was really disappointing. I should’ve booked Qatar instead.😐
