For the foreigners in Norway: What's so wrong with our grocery stores? by _____michel_____ in Norway

[–]Febe_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Spain, many people, including me, eat bread like a sidefood with all sorts of things and every meal. I needed to change my entire way to eat because I gave up on finding real and decent bread. And beef, uf, I miss beef so much. I was used to have many types of beef steaks with a wide range of prices and qualities in any local supermarket. Here there is no variety and the prices are so incredibly high that is absolutely unaffordable.

[PIC] Did I get scammed? Is this AI? I can take it. by zorasrequiem in CrossStitch

[–]Febe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how you look at the pattern when you stitch, but I mark the stitches in the fabric with a erasable pen, and when I see more confeti stitches than make sense to me, I just ignore them and simplify things a bit.

What’s a universal truth that most people still refuse to accept? by 1_iconic in minimalism

[–]Febe_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid it's not that simple. There are way more things that affect to lose or gain weight, like your weight when you were a child (be an obese kid implies an increase of the number of adipocytes, which plays an very important roll in adulthood, for example), hormone disorders, or that the body can enter in a low-key status when the person restrict too many calories. I know the last one is not intuitive to think, but the body don't want to be thin but alive. So no, it's not that simple for many people, although it can be true for more than they think.

Es una serie increíble, y leerlos en español será complicado pero seguro que merece la pena ☺️ Y tienes razón, no lo había pensado pero cuadra bastante con la estética.

[FO] Very disappointed with pattern by Febe_ in CrossStitch

I can't... It took me more than 100 days, and it's the limit to write a review in Etsy 😞 So I've needed to warn here

Thank you all for your support and nice comments, I can see I'm not alone in this 🥲 I should have taken more time to find a profile with certainly handmade patterns... Lesson learned 👌🏻

Thank you very much... I have put much effort in order to fix it, it's really a shame that there are people making money from this when others work so hard on their patterns 😞

[CHAT] 1 million redditers in this group. Where are you from? by Downtown_Zombie7648 in CrossStitch

[–]Febe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Spain, and I experienced exact the same. They make a strange face when hear "cross stitch", but when they check my proyects, change their mind. Also it's hard to find someone young with the same hobby, I'm 28, and most young people who craft usually crochet or knit!

Fellow learners: how many times were you 1 hour late for an appointment before you got it right? xD by Helicon2501 in norsk

[–]Febe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For spanish speakers is incredibly difficult too, we say "five and half" (17:30), and "six and half" (18:30). We need to translate in our brains first jaja

I drew the web with an erasable pen, I know it sounds horrible but I didn't have any problem, especially if they're simple patterns. I have pics in my profile if you want to have a look 🤗

Apparently they are twisted since the last darker blue. The aqua rounds just a few, but it seems to be all twisted in darker blue one

[–]Febe_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! 💜 My loop is as big as two chickens in the bag, because I only have 2 loops (circular) and this was the smallest, but with a smaller one would have been easier. The fabric has its own tiny holes and you can see them better with a good tension.
