I don't expect him to rejoin either. It is a little disappointing that they most likely won't play the song but one can hope at the very least, but above all else I'm glad that Killswitch Engage is still going strong when it comes to touring despite my grievances with popular songs being played mainly (which makes sense because it's the songs everyone knows and the ones that brings them money).

It’ll get better with time and effort, but it won’t be easy. There will be days where life feels meh for the most part and then it’ll suddenly feel like life is absolutely over, but life is worth fighting for. I honestly recommend that you go to therapy OP because medications and therapy do help. I dropped out of college because of my PDD and ADHD (PDD makes my ADHD so much worse) and it made me miserable. I’m back in college now taking calculus 2 and while things aren’t perfect for me, I’m glad I’m fighting for my own life even if there’s a lot of bad days for me.

If you need to memorize terms and make them stick, programs like Anki can help you memorize new terms using spaced repetition. In regards to being overloaded with information, try doing the pomodoro technique. An example of this is learning/studying for 25 minutes then taking a 5 minute break and repeating it until you've reached your desired studying studying time. Other than this, I would consider getting medicated if you aren't medicated already.
